This game is an excellent gut-punch of a story. While I have not experienced sex abuse, as a child or otherwise, I know people who have. This game helps bring light and conversation to an uncomfortable but all-too-common issue. I applaud the execution of this game. While the story is difficult and uncomfortable, it is also surprisingly positive. While Timothee's experience is not all-encompassing, I recommend this game to anyone who wishes to learn or empathize with this issue.

If I was to describe Eastshade in one word it would be "Enchanting". Between the delightful NPCs, the beautiful scenery, the charming premise and the lovely soundtrack-this is a game that can make all your cares fade away.

That said: make sure to save often as this game as the unfortunate tendency to freeze every once in a while. Maybe a computer with a better processor than mine wouldn't have this issue but I wanted to give a fair warning as I lost progress a couple times. Save after every important action.

I really enjoy this game. The story is light-hearted, the characters are fun, and overall Stardew Valley is a very relaxing, warm, and friendly game to play. The graphics are nolstalgic in a retro kind of way and it fits the tone of the game. It gives a great community vibe that is sometimes hard to find in real life these days. I like to play this game when I'm stressed or need to unwind as the simple life and patterns of stardew valley, set to whimsical music, makes it really easy for all my cares to melt away.
