This is a biased take because i love Musou games as well as Action Roguelite games but, this game is phenominal. The Musou formula translated very, very well into this format. Absolutely recommend.

Another action Roguelite that has tons of promise and good ideas but glaringly awful design decisions.

like not having the tiniest bit of invulnerability after taking damage yet, including the rapid swarms of enemies like Vampire Survivor. Had several late game losses due to these things showing up, after i was cruising through the rest of the stage.

It'll be a lot of fun once silly stuff like this gets ironed out (hopefully)

This was far better than i had expected.

I was definitely expecting something like Nioh and what i got was an even more polished game with even better combat.

I admit, im a long time fan of DFO since the Nexon beta days and i absolutely love how the speed and brutality of the Berserker class has translated incredibly well into the 3rd dimension. Khazan's violent combat style flows well no matter which weapon you choose.

I also like the addition of the DFO crafting system (shards) and how the gear looks overall. I really cant believe that i was hunting for set pieces in a demo to be honest. Really looking forward to the full release now that i know what to expect. Definitely hoping for some well deserved success because i know for sure id already like to see Khazan 2 or even another big project involving the Dungeon Fighter universe. I can't be the only person who was waiting patiently for "Project BBQ" for a really long time!

Theres the beginnings of an absolutely fantastic ARPG here. Theres a lot of really wonderful aspects of this game but theres also a lot of issues that need ironing out still. I have faith that GGG will create another fantastic game in time, just like the original PoE.

Just be aware, at the time of writing this, you're going to die from a lot of stuff you didn't see or just didn't see coming. You're gonna deal with a market thats skewed due to dupers and, certain builds are absolutely cracked while others struggle a lot.

Im not even going to lie, this game is fun. But the lack of variation in the beginning stages of the game feels like ice water soup. Attack and defend cards only?? I think even Final Fantasy 1 had more exciting options in the very beginning.

The saving grace here is the daily challenges that actually add variation to the game without having to slog through hours of boredom just to get to the good part.

It's the best game ever. 10/10 not even a contest. Ill be playing this game for years.

Great port with all the extras. Just good, old fashioned Samurai Warriors fun done well.

One of the greatest video games ever made.

I was super addicted to the mobile game and i knew that i was gonna get way more than $10 in value from this version. Not disappointed :D

I just had more fun finishing the game on easy mode for the first time than ive had playing AAA games for the last 15 years.
Everything about Devil Blade Reboot feels so incredibly polished and the music is very well produced. IMO the most suiting kind of music for shmups (and my personal favorite) is Thrash Metal with lots of screaming electric guitars and we get this in spades here. This feels like the kind of game i'd have spent $150 to mail order from Japan for my old Sega Saturn as a teenager.

Basically, if you even remotely enjoy shmups, or even just video games in general, you should play this masterpiece. It's a love letter to everything that makes top-down shmups wonderful.
