The game does have some rough edges, like the combat and the story, but if you're looking for either a great metroidvania or an incredible 3D platformer, you've found the right game. Don't let the low poly models or purposefully low frame rate animations fool you, this is one of the most responsive, fluid 3D platformers I've played. The different ares of the game feel unique, the music is bopping, and the overall gameplay is just fun. I was able to finish the game in around 5.5 hours, and it was worth ever hour and every dollar.
