If you played and enjoyed XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within at all, buy this game.
If you like the idea of a tactical tug-of-war, the decisions you make having an impact, and fighting badass looking aliens as they try to take over Earth, this is definantly a game to think about.
For me, I am always coming back to this, and probably will for as long as the modding community stays active. But even if they stopped developing new mods now, there is sooooo much available for this game I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. With the ease of adding community mods to the game, it makes this already great game even better.
