Pros:

Grimdark Atmosphere: Darktide nails the grim and gritty Warhammer 40,000 universe. The atmosphere is so thick with despair, you can practically taste it.

Teamplay Intensity: Cooperative chaos at its finest. Darktide demands tight teamwork to survive the relentless hordes of enemies. It's a visceral dance of destruction with friends.

Immersive Soundscapes: The eerie echoes of distant horrors and the thunderous footsteps of approaching foes add a layer of tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Weapon Variety: A satisfying arsenal of weapons from the Warhammer universe. Each firearm feels weighty, and the melee options are downright brutal—a Warhammer fan's dream.

Visceral Combat: Engaging enemies feels impactful and brutal. Whether you're mowing down hordes with a boltgun or cleaving through foes with a chainsword, the combat is a visceral delight.

Cons:

Occasional Bugs: As with any game in development, there are occasional bugs. While not game-breaking, they can momentarily break the immersion.

Learning Curve: Newcomers to the Warhammer universe might feel a bit overwhelmed by the lore and terminology. It's a deep dive into the grimdark, and some might need time to acclimate.

Limited Enemy Variety: While the enemies are menacing, there's room for more variety. Fighting hordes of Chaos cultists is undeniably fun, but a bit more diversity wouldn't hurt.

Graphics Optimization: Some players have reported performance issues, particularly on lower-end systems. Optimization updates are expected, but it's worth noting. - I will say that regarding this, they have optimized the game a bit better then launch. HOWEVER, loading times are extensive. I have friends with high end pc's telling me that they load for AWHILE.

Overall, it's a good game, and I would recommend it to anybody. I'm sure I will be playing a lot more of this soon.

Sick

While I really enjoy this game, There are a few issues that need to be adressed.

Pros-

-A fun sandbox game, sort of like Terraria, in space.

-There are something around 4 millions or so planets to explore (that was the number I read when I got it, there are probably more now.)

-There are many different things to do, like farming, building colonies, and so forth.

-The planets add many different challenges.

-There is a pet-like system, sort of like pokemon in a sense.

-You can get crewmembers, that do various things for the ship. Like the engineer can increase how much fuel the ship can take on.

Cons-

-There is almost no point to do any of the extra features. Farming isn't all that necessary, even with the hunger system.

-To upgrade your ship, you have to actually build a colony, and get crewmembers to upgrade it. However, due to the new "upgrade station" system, there is almost no point to do that since you can live fine without upgrading your ship once.

-A very, VERY, bad storyline. You start off in this group, called the "protectorate", and basically you have to go through the entire game to beat the thing that destroyed earth, but there is almost no incentive to do so. You are in the protectorate for around two minutes before Earth gets shrekt, so there is almost no incentive to go through the game, and beat the final boss, since it never really did anything to you in the first place.

-The storyline is the same almost everytime, you basically get a debrief from a protectorate lady, that basically says you have to go to any random planet of your choosing, find this "specific" race, and scan certain items. Whether the items the race has in their home are useful to scan or not, though, is a completely different matter entirely. This happens six times, everytime ending in a boss battle. Basically, becoming very reptitive.

-Some of the crew members, like the janitor, seem to be completely useless, basically bringing no upgrades at all to the table, or even giving your character any sort of buff.

-Crew members were, when 1.0 came out, almost completely useless in a fight on account of them doing two damage.

-They are still completely useless, it seems, unless you use mods.

-You won't even get to use the pet system effectivly, until much later.

-I probably should also mention the fact that several features they introduced, whether it was a year or two ago, were removed. As a result, they spent valuable time in early access and removed half the good crap that was actually in it. As a result, many older players aren't all that happy with some of the new features that kind of replaced the old. It sucked out some of the fun of the game.

Basically, once you beat the endgame, there isn't much left to do, besides build. I still enjoy this game, however, due to the great hours of enjoyment it did give me. And, I would recommend it, as you will probably get your money's worth for around 150-300 hours of fun.

But all joking aside, This truly is a good game. It has many different game modes, you can play murder, which is like a "find out who the murderer is" scenario. You also have Prop hunt, players will be cops or something, and you can morph into certain props. Sandbox, is build whatever you want, and probably what I spend most time doing. There is a lot more, and I can go on and on, but there are so many mods I can't cover it all. The modding community is very active, and if you have problems there is usually always a person out to help you. It also has very active multiplayer, have fun with that.

I will probably be playing this game for a few years, its just so good and interesting, and a lot of funny stuff happen. It isn't a serious game, its more of a "have fun and don't care about serious stuff" game. Obviously depending on multiplayer you might have rules, but you will get past that. Have fun, 10/10 Would get murdered by ten nukes again.

So it seems that valve and bethesda have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rid of the paid mods. Good. But, there is still the fact that they did this to us in the first place. They should have at least asked us first, and most of us would have said the obvious choice: a Donate button. It would have been smarter all together. Its so sad as well, since the damage has been done. Some mod makers will never come back for being bashed like they did. Also the fact that half the mods charged 99$ just for making lydia 2% stronger was stupid as well. Hopefully, this is where this "paid mods" crap ends for these games...Although, I only think this is just the beginning.I hope valve/bethesda got what they wanted.

Hmm...where to start. This game has a incredible atomosphere, the feeling of being almost alone in the world, forced through many exciting and awesome trials. Every boss you kill you are rewarded. For this is not a easy game to just pick up and play. No you must learn mechanics. Of my 3000 hours (xbox and pc combined) I have never once been bored, You can go and do pvp whenever you want, summon people to your world just to help you with a hard area, or just go it alone in this world. This is probably one of the best games out there, it actually makes you WORK for victories. Buy it, its WORTH the experience. 10/10, best game ever made.
