So, apparently you need to do a Fix (some people are saying use your Firewall to block the game's connection to the Internet), but either way the Devs seem to have abandoned it and Strategy First is just a publisher (they can't be bothered to rehire the Devs). Here's a community fix for it: http://steamproxy.net/app/204760/discussions/0/792924952651389438/

There's also an Archive in case it ever goes away: http://archive.is/Fwmca

This game used to be amazing. It had a lively community, you could customize your duel character. It was fun. Now it's a hollow shell of its former self. The Devs need to rethink their strategy. This new "Free to Play" model doesn't work for Blade Symphony.

This game is incredibly fun and by people who've worked on the Dark Siders series. It gives off a Dark Souls meets Dark Tower (Stephen King) vibe with a tiny bit of H.P. Lovecraft. I highly recommend this game and may update my review in the future in case I find more to talk about. So far, enjoying the ever loving life out of it!

Early Access Review
Devs released game in "Early Access", shut down the game, ran off with all our money. When contacted, they give us nonesensical excuses. If you need money so badly, just sell the game to Microsoft or someone who can actually run the game on their servers. Because "servers" are the main excuse.

It was actually kinda fun until these Hipsters ruined it. Never buy games from Hipsters again. Scam artists at best.

I honestly want to recommend this. It was incredibly fun when I got it, but the Multiplayer has died and there's several missing things in the game: 1) Mission Editor was unfinished, 2) Final chapter is missing and the ending we got was very sub-par 3) Characters that were in development were removed (such as Chico's "Oni" form).

It's fun, but missions feel like they were Snap-mapped (for good reason, since the Mission Editor was meant to let you create your own missions). Music is amazing. Graphics are great. Gameplay sometimes feels a bit (keyword, sometimes) broken. Still a good conclusion to Kojima's canon games. I'd recommend playing Metal Gear Rising + finishing up Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes

Honestly, as much as I like Capcom, their "Corporate First" decision making with this game has been horrid. They separated the 2019 Season (which on News Media) was touted as "special" and "it's going to be wild". What'd we get? Evil Ryu/Kage earlier in the year (which cost money, since it was a rushed/timed "Free" item) and the final characters are sold separately as "Summer Pass 2019".

Yea, no. I get that they need to make money, but this combined with putting video ads into the game, shaky internet connection/netcode, horrid balancing/rebalancing, just stick to Ultra Street Fighter 4. At least that was made competently and with respect towards customers (hey that game has plenty of Costumes and DLC as well, but at least it's done as a full package and not this weird Mobile-model).

It's Metal Slug! And Metal Slug X at that! What're you waiting for? (Not a formal review, but if you like Platformer Arcade Run 'n Guns like Contra, this is your kind of game).

I highly recommend getting the Metal Slug collection, however, and not just one game in the series.

It goes from Silent Hill in First Person to Dark Souls/King's Field in First Person if you play during Midnight. I highly recommend trying this mechanic out. The game itself (so far) has been fun. Will post if anything changes, but I highly doubt it would (it's been great and I think it'll keep being a great experience).

I kickstarted both Bloodstained games and do not regret it at all thus far! Super fun! It's got a bit of Castlevania III gameplay mixed with modern gameplay mechanics. What's most interesting is the ability to go back in time and redo stages to get different endings, etc.

What I found super interesting was that the game's Aesthetic is a mixture of "Dark Fantasy" (like Dark Souls, Demon's Souls, etc) and Castlevania. So, all in all, it looks good, the music is amazing, and it plays well! Platforming is solid, pacing is good enough to keep you playing for several solid hours at a time. I highly recommend this!
