FTL is a hardcore RPG. This is my first experience with any game of this nature and I was pleasantly surprised and have now played this game the most of all of my Steam games. While it has a steep learning curve watching one playthrough on youtube greatly improved my game and I now understand the mechanics of this game at a much higher level. It is a deeper game than you would expect. Take a chance with FTL!
