Only recommending because there's no "neutral" option and game isn't a bad one, it's just short.

Not a bad game but not great. I had fun playing it but it's incredibly short. Not worth $50 dollars given the main story can be done in less than 7hrs. There is definitely a lot to do but it's no different than the OG (the first one). The city is the same as the original, there are stronghold locations to take down, items to collect, etc. There's nothing special about this game other than the weather. Overall, it's a re-skin and is fun, but I wouldn't recommend it at full retail price.

Pretty good beta. Guns behave really well (especially the increased recoil!). Gunsmith is nice and overall look of the game is good. Movement is interesting and slower paced. There's no slide canceling, so this will be a bit slower paced. There's a few things they gotta fix and all, but that's normal for a beta. I'd say a good solid 4/5!

I haven't done a review in years, but this game has prompted me to because it is truly a masterpiece. I grew up playing RTS games (AoE / Middle Earth) and I have always enjoyed games that require micro-managing and strategy. While this game is not quite the traditional RTS, it is still a heavy micro-managing based game and strategy is key. The economy is passive and requires you to hold key positions in order to gain resources. This style of gameplay will take some time to get used to compared to other games simply because of certain mechanics of the game (which you will learn with time). There are five factions to play as (3 Allies and 2 Axis), there is plenty of variety to change things up. Every faction feels unique (some similarities are present) and allows you change things up if you are bored of one faction. Not to mention, there are several commanders you can choose that give you different abilities and units which can add to the fun. My only complaint is that some of the commanders are pretty good, but require you to spend a couple dollars. That said however, the commanders are not game breaking by any means and this game is far from "pay to win." The basic commanders provide enough abilities for you to win the battle.

The final complaint is not really the game's fault, but the player base is fairly small. Sometimes during certain days match-making takes a few minutes. Meanwhile, other days take virtually 60 seconds or less. It really depends on the day. Not sure how this will change with the upcoming Coh3, but I imagine some will still stick behind so you shouldn't have issues with a dead player base.

At the end of the day, this game offers endless hours of fun. With over 450hrs so far, I still can't get enough of the game. If you want to have fun with friends (up to 4v4) or do 1v1s, this game is one to check out. Plus, with frequent sales this game is easily affordable (just be sure to get the DLC that gives you all factions). Hope this review helped!

I've been longing for a classic Call of Duty for quite some time. What I really love about this game, is the competitive sniping, arcade modes, and just overall, that classic CoD4 feel. If you enjoyed the older CoDs (especially with the bolt action snipers) then I'm sure you'll like this. The graphics aren't as beautiful as I would like in a video game, but I'm often too caught up with trying to capture the flag, or sniping somebody to really care. There are some more improvements needed, but with more time, I'm sure the developers will continue to polish the game.

I would recommend it, it's a fun game to play, especially with friends.

I was originally really iffy about purchasing this game due to its problems before launch. Microtransactions, abusive forum moderator, and other unsaid issues that happened. After a year and a half, I decided to pick it up on sale.

After getting into it, I wish I had grabbed it sooner. The game contains so much more content than in Shadow of Mordor. The first one felt like an unfinished product in terms of story. However, in Shadow of War they really improved. I spent most of my time doing side objectives and savoring the story. Only complaint I have is the graphics are blurry unless you have the texture packs.

Other than that, I would highly recommend the game. I spent a lot of fun hours in the game.

Well, after my 100+ hours of WWII, I think it’s time I do my annual Call of Duty review. World War II has made a respectable impact on the PC community. The numbers on launch exceeded those of Black Ops III. However, the game has its fair share of errors, cheaters, and just overall, issues that people should take into account. Day one, users have been experiencing FPS drops, crashes, poor connection, and of course; cheaters. These problems aren’t false, but they are overly exaggerated. For the first time two weeks ago I was experiencing FPS drops due to an update Sledgehammer released and it was pretty common for everyone. From what I’ve seen, there are users with minimum specs attempting to run the game and obviously are resulting in performance issues. If you are well above the minimum specs, there’s a very little chance that you’ll run into serious issues. If you’re unaware that you can run it, post in the forums. Prior to the patch, I was getting 120-140fps with a mix of high and ultra-settings, now lowered settings just a bit and cap myself at 100fps. The game does randomly crash sometimes, I am unaware what the source of it is. Yes sometimes you will be playing and leading your team into that awesome comeback and then an unexpected crash. Out of my 100+ hours, I’ve only experienced this a handful of times and doesn’t prevent me from playing either. The connection is the standard Call of Duty server, sometimes minimum lag and other times it’s unplayable. Generally speaking though, 70-80% of the time it’s pretty good.

Regarding the cheating situation. No doubt the game has cheaters, but you will find that the average gamer mistakes legit skill for cheating. I’m accused nearly every day and I’m by far not ‘that’ good. With browsing the forums and seeing how people react in-game, I’m finding that gamers can’t accept that there is someone better than them. It’s almost as if there is a pride issue, “surely if someone is better than me, they’re hacking”. And that my friends, is how many of this is over exaggerated. I am not saying there isn’t cheating, as I have experienced a few cases where I had to leave and find another lobby because it was that bad; but that was early on in the game’s release. People can say I don’t recognize cheating, but I have spent my fair share of time with multiplayer on Call of Duty as a whole, I think I can recognize legit playing and cheating.

As for the in-game mechanics and overall feel for the game. I really enjoy it. It’s definitely more boots on the ground and has a good WWII theme. However, I find the action isn’t as intense as Black Ops 3. Personally, Black Ops 3 grew on me and I really liked it. Now, there is a big change between wall-running to on the ground fighting, so I understand that. There is quite a bit of prestiging in-game other than the usual weapon and rank prestige. There is the divisions prestiging abilities that will unlock the option for you to purchase (with in-game currency, not real USD) uniforms, calling cards, etc. You can customize your character like previous CoDs, but I find that Bo3 allowed you to do more customizing than WWII.

After evaluating everything, the only major issue I really have a problem with, is the lack of maps. There are 10 MP maps and three War mode maps, but I find that I’m playing the same 5 maps over and over. I am looking forward to more content to be released throughout the rest of this year. The amount of performance problems with network and hardware is minimum and there are some issues at times yes, but nothing to make things unplayable for long periods of time. Cheater situation for me doesn’t bother me as I rarely encounter one, but do understand there are some, but not to the point of where it’s invested. The mechanics are enjoyable and about how I expected them to be for a WWII game. I miss the intensity of Bo3, but I still run into some intense moments in-game that cause me to get that chap-stick out 😉 Lastly, the maps. I can cope with the 10 maps but more maps is going to be great; just hope they’re populated. Speaking of population, many compare that the game has 10K playing right now where as opposed to the 80K playing on release. The numbers are actually very good for PC (Bo3 averaged 6K after release) and while they are lower, I don’t run into issues finding matches. I can leave one match and join another perfectly fine.

I would give the game a big thumbs up and would say you will enjoy your time, but if you dislike the game after you purchase, use the refund option. It’

Very pleased! The game runs very smooth (specs listed on profile). Seems a lot of people are just creating bad reviews in spite of it not working on their machine that is below the minimum specs listed on the store page. I can see a bright feature for it, pretty excited for the next few days!

This game received a lot of hate the moment it was announced. Sadly a lot of it was cause people wanted to be apart of the club so jumped into the hate wagon. It is indeed funny seeing the same person say it's going to be garbage and then here come November 4th, they're playing...

Campaign

The campaign was a very amazing and was the best I've played in a long time. It gives a future feel but it feels real...for example, if our would was in the future, this is would it would feel like. Where as in Black Ops 3, it was all future based but it felt un-real. The story behind it all was just put together very well. You can tell the Modern Warfare story writers were behind it, haven't seen a good story since MW3.

Graphics

The game also received a lot of hate due to it's graphics. Sure, they aren't as great as Battlefield but it is still very enjoyable. With the right tweaks, you can make it look beautiful.

Multiplayer

When I first played IW's Multiplayer, I honestly hated it. The whole time I was comparing it to Black Ops 3 but after I got this through my head, "Infinite Warfare isn't meant to be Black Ops 3, if it was all CoDs would be even more of the same". After that, I was like "okay, fine I'll keep with it". Sure enough, after a few hours of gameplay I am starting to enjoy it. It defiantly takes time to switch over, but once you do it is a lot of fun.

Movement System

In my own opinion, the best way to describe it is a mix between Black Ops 3, Advanced Warfare and a touch of Modern Warfare 2. The sliding is pretty cool, jumping feels pretty light and diligent.

Zombies

Zombies is exactly how I predicted. Not as cool as Treyarch's zombies. Which I have to admit, TA has it mastered. But IW's zombies is still fun but it just feels kind of dumb. I was never expecting much of it to begin with, but my opinion could change with newer zombie maps to come.

Performance

I have had no issues what so ever. I'm running on a i7-6700K, MSI 1070, and 16GB RAM. Granted, those are wicked specs but I even tested on a Lenovo laptop with i7-4710HQ @ 2.5GHz / GTX 860M / 8GB RAM and it runs flawless on medium-high settings...50-60fps. So people who say it's optimized bad are most likely wrong and their issues have something to do with their computer. Now I am not saying it's all of their fault, cause there are some issues that Activision needs to fix such as some mouse lag, crashes, freezes, etc. But in my very own honest opinion...something on their computer is causing the issue.

Modern Warfare Remaster

To sum it up it is exactly the same as CoD4 but with newer graphics. Still a great game to play the 100th time, so for sure grab it if you're going to purchase Infinite Warfare. So if you loved CoD4, you'll love this even more.

With all of that said, the Infinite Warfare Campaign is incredible, Multiplayer is good but give it time to sink in, and zombies is fun but also lame. I still recommend it but keep in mind there are some issues that have to be fixed, if you're nervous perhaps wait to December for it to be patched up and working better for some people. Also don’t believe all of the reviews, most of them are based off of someone’s 30 minute gameplay.

Let's just start off, it's another great game published by Warner Brothers.

The game definitely gives a "Mad Max" feel and really matches the movies (from what I've seen) in my opinion. Fighting is great as ever. Pretty close (if not exactly the same) to Batman Arkham. When it comes to hand to hand combat, there isn't hordes of enemies to attack unlike Batman titles, but even with less targets it is still a interesting and exciting fight.

Car functionality is pretty good. A lot better than the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. Granted, they're both really different but at times I had issues driving the Batmobile. Even though it is great, it still doesn't compare any Need for Speed driving, but not bad at all.

Graphics are very nice in this game. I am running at "max" settings and have no issues what so ever. Even tested on a lower grade machine and even on medium settings, it looks perfectly fine and runs solid as well.

Regarding story and the open-world aspect of the game. I would say that the story was very good, and really protrayed the sadness of this wasteland and kinda wanted to make me cry at times (perhaps I'm just a baby!). Not exactly sure where it falls into place with the original stories as for I've never watched them, but even from a view of knowing nothing about the story of Max, it made perfect sense and really left you the ablity to do whatever you want. Rather you want to wait on the main story and do side-missions or even other way around, it totally leaves the choice up to you. When you first begin, you think there is a lot of places to see in the small area you are currently at, but then you look at your map and see the miles of miles of endless driving to the very top of the map, you think otherwise! That feature made it even better, offering lots of areas to explore and left plenty of room for driving or taking down enemy vehciales. There are only about 6-8 different kind of side missions which are spread across the whole wasteland of Mad Max. While it kinda gets to be repetitive, it can still keep you interested. I however see that once your car is fuly upgraded, there will be no purpose to playing.

Quick recap!

Great game of Warner Brothers, fighting is awesome and intense, driving functionality is farily decent, story was great and open-world / side missions are enjoyable but also repetitive. There are a few minor changes I would have made to the game, but honestly...they don't matter as much cause they did great everywhere else in the game. So again, if you like Batman titles, you'll more than enjoy this game. If you like open-world game with a mix of Batman / Fallout setting, this is a great game to spend countless hours on.

PAYDAY. The name says it all. This is an awesome bank robber game. The functionality reminds me a lot of an EA/DICE game, which is fun to play around with. The game has good AI logic, the bots don’t run around doing nothing, they actually can think (unlike some games I’ve seen). From breaking into a bank, to taking out waves of police units, to taking all the money you can in the vault, this is a great game.
