Great game.
Good content.
Even better modding.
DLCs are a bit all over the place ranging from great and good value for the money to expensive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
But I think they are trying by now.

balanced, skill based, not much benefit through premium.
edit: some premium vehicles are matched against much weaker verhicles and therefore have an advantage.

Also there are some wierd balancing decisions (late german WW2 tanks fight against cold-war tanks. Of course they get wrecked instantly.)
