Bejeweled 3 is a very wholesome, addictive, and interesting Match 3 puzzle game that is suitable for pretty much all ages.

The game comes with eight playable modes, some of which are locked at the beginning of the game and unlock as you get higher scores in some of the other game modes. I won't talk about the majority of the game modes here because I am not an expert when it comes to explaining the game modes best.

I will, however, explain two of the game modes:

Lightning Mode: Pretty much play as fast and as accurately as you can. The faster and more consecutive matches you make, the more speed matches you make, and eventually, you go into "Blazing Speed" mode where every match you make acts like a Flame Gem (explodes in a 3x3 radius around the matched gem). Getting high scores relies on you being able to think on your feet, match quickly and accurately, and make good use of special gems. It's not for the easily stressed player, but is great for those that can see things quickly.

Zen Mode: This is this game's "Infinite Mode" equivalent. You match gems, make special gems, and after accruing a certain number of points on each level, you "complete" the level and move onto the next level. The amount of points required to move onto the next level increases every level, but the increase won't be too noticeable until you get pretty deep into the mode. You can never game over in this mode because the games' programming prevents this from happening in this mode, allowing you to pretty much just play however you want to and destress from the day's activities. This is my favorite game mode.

There are six other game modes you can play, each of which are geared towards specific types of players, so there is pretty much something for everyone here. This is a definite recommendation at any price, though if you can get it at a discount, it is worth it even more!
