This game is my guilty pleasure. Something about experiencing exciting hypothetical dramatic scenarios and relationships in a 3D visual format makes my boring life suddenly seem interesting. I am honestly surprised by the variety of seemingly authentic emotions that I felt playing this video game, and I wish there are more episodes with the same continuous plot.

Is it really an "Idle Game" if it takes me an hour to set everything up and running every time I re-set my prestige?

The Russian voice acting for Alice is a huge turn-on for me, I guess there is something about exotic foreign accents that make my heart rate go wild. The story line itself is just slightly too weird for my taste, but nonetheless quite interesting to read about.

Maybe I am biased against graphic novels presented in a video game format, but clicking through long strings of conversation line by line without being able to make decisions and with the only visuals being statically painted pictures of the same characters are just too boring for someone like me.

Footnote: Even though I definitely prefer traditional paper literature, I did highly enjoy a few graphic novels video game, just unfortunately not this particular one.

Interesting escape room-ish puzzle game with a lot of abstract concepts mimicking an infant's dream. The various different forms of the Samsara Room (from human, to fish, to gecko, to bird) reflected by a mirror in the room makes the game incredibly fascinating to explore. Personally, I really enjoy the bird room not only because of its creative puzzles but great scenery that made me "feel free". Although I am not a big fan of escape room games, this game is definitely one of the best ones out there!

Tremendous scenery artwork of the back country that can only be described as the dreamy for hikers. Quite an emotional story line throughout the game along with amazing sound track that compliments the atmosphere. Although the elaborate build-ups resulted in an anti-climatic ending (there was no conspiracy, there was no spark between Henry and Delilah) that might seems alienating and unrewarding, it actually mirrors the reality of our short and boring life where we always imagine the most absurd and dramatic scenarios when connecting the dots in our head.

I don't get it

The graphical beauty of Ori and the Blind Forest and the fabulous storytelling does not make up for the extremely tedious game play mechanics. Being stuck at the same parkour checkpoint over and over again makes the game less interesting and rewarding to play. Sometimes I even have to spent 30 minutes running the same exact task until I find the right timing so I don't get instantly blasted by a death ray.

Knowing what to do is easy, but doing crazy parkour with my fat fingers is just impossible. I really don't understand how this game is getting any critical acclaims because it's just mechanical annoying and unenjoyable for your average puzzle gamer.

Just not fun to play.

Too many bugs and overtly extravagant features. Made it less motivating for me to attempt to complete this game.
