It's a small heist with very linear objectives that involve a lot of bag moving and opening locked safes, it's very classic PAYDAY 2 design. You are tasked with stopping a set of trains and stealing loot from inside of them via a roof entry, the lack of markers for where you're meant to open the trains can make it feel clunky and poorly designed and leaves you at the mercy of enemy fire while you scramble to find where to open the train from. If you start loud you'll have to quickly rush ahead of the trains and blow up their escape route with C4, it's a nice way to start the heist and I'm glad a fail state is provided early on though I think having another one at the end is rough for struggling teams.

The design of the trainyard is overall solid and one of my favorites in a while, I like the use of convex roofs on trains to indicate which ones have loot and which ones are decoration, saves the player time from dealing with RNG and once inside these trains you can open them create new traversal paths throughout the map, rewarding progression of the heist in a better way than just getting more loot or unlocking point B. The map has some decent cover with the trains, underpasses, and made better by opening trains and being able to hold up inside one. Its objectives are the not the most exciting thing and it's very basic PAYDAY 2 but the design of the map, visuals, and music have made it an enjoyable one.

Good and impressive map design and visuals with a very open design for how you want to do objectives, especially if you're able to split up and do objectives isolated from each other, it rewards you for being able to handle yourself with enemies by letting you do things more efficiently and it contributes to the feeling of being an organized crew, really enjoyed it and recommend.

Overall fun heist with ambitious map design and straight forward objectives, length is fine and replay value is good, solid addition to the lineup. The boat entrance and escape is handled overall well and it's another addition that helps the scale of the heist and perhaps it's the final time we'll get such a cinematic and crazy heist given the more grounded approach and desire for PAYDAY 3.

The most meaningful part of the DLC though is it being the last heist the game will ever receive along with a triumphant song to celebrate the 10 years of developing storylines the game, community, and devs had all throughout, it's one of the more enjoyable additions to the soundtrack in recent years and it's a perfect piece to ride off into the sunset to and say goodbye to this crazy ride of a game and its ever changing game design, it's been rough and there are a lot of changes I wasn't fond of throughout the years but I'm glad I was part of it all.

i revew all dlc

this dlc gives you a way to get mods in a better way and reduces some grinding but it's awful that a player needs this to fix a problem with the game's progression, it's an awful practice and do not recommend it

but you pretty much have to get it anyway

It's pretty gud. 10 bucks on Humble currently, get it there or on a sale. Short game with short and replayable levels, 3 out of the 4 styles are enjoyable to play with and worth getting all S ranks for. Classic Sonic doesn't control as well as older games and the levels stick out compared to the other styles, ends up breaking pace of the game imo. Not the worst Sonic game out there but def not worth 40 and everything about its story is laughably bad, and not in an enjoyable way.

Overall good port, runs well and looks good, minor glitches but works fine for the most part.

Suda's return to directing isn't as grand as many would hope but it's what he needed. A smaller project like the ones he started with and one that allowed him to be more involved with the game's direction. The gameplay can be repetitive and the lack of gore and violence can make it feel less satisfying at a surface level but the game makes up for it by having a large selection of special skills and enemies that offer a more engaging challenge than anything in NMH ever did, including some of the best bosses in the series. It's a solid beat em up, I had fun with it.

Suda fans will also find lots of enjoyment with lots of cameos and fan service to older characters from other GHM games, from Silver Case to Killer is Dead, we have something from nearly every GHM release. Furthermore the game themselves represent a different point in Suda's life as a person and developer, it's a good look into what shaped him into the person he is today. It's a very welcome return for longtime Suda fans.

3D Bullet Hell Space Shooter with linear rail levels or open arena levels like Star Fox and an Ikaruga color switch system which lets you absorb enemy projectiles that match your current ship's color. Much like Ikaruga it starts off easy but it will quickly have you scrambling as some fights involve needing to dodge enemy projectiles, color coded walls and objects, and needing to balance a crosshair on constantly moving enemy weak points, it makes for some very intense boss fights and it's where the game truly shines the most, especially if one is fond of over the top shmup bosses. Despite the difficulty the game has a generous checkpoint system so dying to a rough pattern or section won't set you back too far, the main difficulty comes from learning the game and improving on boss fights and levels and getting good rankings on levels. Anyone that grew up with arcade titles should find it easy to settle in. For 10 dollars you can't go wrong, pick it up on a lazy afternoon and you're in a for a fun ride.
