A genuinely cool concept, but a major lack of content, replay value, or any of the promised feature updates nine years later, the game's just not worth it. Don't waste your money, for the love of GOD.

This game used to be amazing, but bigoted and powerhungry moderators have permanently tarnished the game; this even got to the point that the game's global chat was shut down all together after massive backlash for the banning of a trans user solely for them speaking of their identity as trans.

TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS

I must say, the matchmaking in this game is extremely smart; there are ten floors of varying difficulty from least to most difficult. Your designated floor will go up or down according to your wins or losses, and you won't be able to play anyone under your designated floor in ranked. It's truly quite smart. GG:S also has the best OST I've heard out of a fighting game tbqh. It's a unique and fun blend of various rock, punk, & metal subgenres with a large variety of styles. AND DID I MENTION IT COMES WITH A NEAR FIVE HOUR ANIME MOVIE????? Please, do yourself a favor and play this.

I'm gonna say it; Resident Evil Village is my favorite RE title, tied with RE3 (the original ofc), 4 and 7. It truly feels like the series can't get any better than this! The characters, story and setting constantly keep me interested and anxiously anticipating what will happen next. The gameplay is the perfect blend of the first person perspective and claustrophobic, tense atmosphere of RE7, and the over-the-top action, more open level design, and overall aesthetic of RE4. I can't recommend this game enough. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR IF YOU LIKE HORROR AND PLAY THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME <3
