As of today my mouse cursor has disappeared when the game gets to the main menu. verifying the files and reinstalling the game does nothing. unfortunately this has made the game unplayable for me and browsing google and steam discussions i have found solution.

I have over 500 hours on hunt which for me outside of an mmorpg is unheard of. I think this is one of the most underrated and unheard of games I have ever played. Even after all my time spent Im still loving it.

Gunplay in this game for me is fantastic. It's a slower paced fps that greatly rewards well placed and timed shots. Each weapon handles differently and takes a bit of practice to get good with. Guns have good feedback and feel very satisfying to shoot and reload.

The design of the monsters and bosses are really good and can be very creepy
It takes a bit of time and practice to learn how to deal with each one without making too much noise which is vital to survival.

The best part of this game is the sound design. Its second to none imo. Everything you do makes sound and can potentially give your position away to enemy hunters. You absolutely need a headset for this. I spent about £30 on mine and I feel like I pick up subtle sounds very well, so don't think you need a £100 + razer pair because you don't. There have been so many times where I have stopped moving and just listned and hear a faint moving noise or a zombie getting killed in the distance then homed in on it.

No game is perfect and hunt has some issue. I can only speak for myself and the friends I've played with but the game right now is in a pretty good state. Performance can be a bit of an issue for some people. I have a old old i7 3700 but an gtx 1080. I run the game on medium settings and get a steady 60fps.

Overall if you love the idea of fps horror with the most intense PvP you will love hunt.
