Je préfère manger un burger plutôt que de jouer à ce jeu.

Je ne comprends ni comment ni pourquoi ce jeu est aussi apprécié. Il est mal écrit, les personnages sont agaçants et constamment en train de faire des blagues censées détendre l’atmosphère. Par exemple : après avoir échappé de justesse à la mort, l’un des personnages sort une réplique du genre « Je préférerais manger un burger plutôt que d’être ici »...
Sérieusement ?!

Le jeu instaure une excellente atmosphère pendant les dix premières minutes du prologue, mais ensuite, plus rien. On dirait que le scénario a été confié à une classe de cinquième.

Quant au gameplay, qui repose essentiellement sur des QTE et des choix, il donne l’impression que ces derniers n’ont aucun réel impact sur l’histoire, comme c’est souvent le cas dans les jeux de la série The Dark Pictures ou Until Dawn. Les choix sont linéaires et se résument souvent à une simple alternative : « vivre ou mourir ». Le pire, c’est cette constante sensation de ne pas avoir le contrôle dans un jeu censé être basé sur des décisions. Par exemple, lorsque le joueur demande une arme dans un dialogue, la réponse est systématiquement négative, quel que soit le choix.

Je ne comprends pas comment on peut vendre ce jeu au prix d’un triple A alors qu’il devrait plutôt rémunérer les joueurs pour le temps qu’ils perdent dessus.

En résumé, n’achetez pas ce jeu : c’est un gaspillage d’argent, de temps et, surtout, de votre précieuse matière grise.

J’ai écrit cette critique avec la même passion que les scénaristes en ont mis pour écrire ce jeu.

I still don't undersand how in 2023 you can launch a game in this state. The only good part about the game is the gunplay.

They stress tested their server and what a surprise, the day of the release. It's impossible to find a game. At least in payday 2 there is a way to fix that, what is it you ask ? obviously the game is playable offline splendid, but in 2023 offline games are a thing of the past it's all about allways online ♥♥♥♥ game, with ♥♥♥♥ servers.

Now more on the gameplay side of thing. The game is I think less casual then Payday 2 which is good ?
I'm not sure about that tho, the game is more consistent on stealth compared to Payday 2 which is still absolutely random on stealth mission. But on the loud side the game is so unforgiving.
Its a spam fest of special bullet sponge enemies which is bad because the ammo is rare not like in Payday 2, even in dsod you could run an ammo positive loadout just by killing enemies, so you are forced to play with, i think, the same meta weapon of Payday 2 : DMR, because they kill in 2 bullets in the head normal enemies in overkill.

Skills in the game work more like perkdeck then skill, it doesn't make you feel really powerfull in overkill. And payday 2 had some broken perk deck, but please buff the skills half of them suck. And I will not talk about ecm they get me very mad.

I'm not sure why they linked the level progression to a success systeme but it's bad tho. Just make account progression longer which is surely to fight the lack of content.

It's this last thing that i find the most frustrating. There's only 8 mission, that's not a lot. But even with that in mind,
I wanted to play this game because I had a lot of fun on Payday 2. The mission are very diffrent but really are allways the same, in the first part of the game you do a bank (the one from the beta), then a jewlery and a night club, they are very diffrent places that look amazing and the loot you have to collect is diffrent too. But the way to acquire the loot is the same on those 3 mission: go to the pc that you have to hack, read the 3 messages in the computer, find the code to the safe/lockdoor and well done mission complete. It's really unfun to have to do the same thing three times almost in a row.
In payday 2 it was the same for the 12 first heist but with the dlc the stealth and loud objective varied a lot and with Big Bank you could even have multiple way to go in the safe and exit the bank. I thought they would have learned from that, I was wrong.

It's really sad to see a game liscence that you love go out like this there's not a lot to do, no special mask, suit, gloves or weapons to get. In this game everything is about time and money, everything can be bought and sure I can run the jewlery store 15 times in a row on hard in less then 3 minutes per run, but really where is the fun in that.

I really can't state this enough but wait, maybe the game will be complete in 6 month or a year, but this game is not worth your time or money in this state the game could be a fun experience but i find nothing in this that reminds me of my past experiences.

Time will tell if this game will be like payday 2 a 40$ game with a paywall of 250 $ of lock dlc content :)

ok i can edit this now, cops are not only annoying their car are literal spaceship , casualy chasing and overtaking a Porshe at 200+ with a ford raptor really. This is clearly a weak aspect of the game. The game is so enjoyable at time but half of my hours on this are spend avoiding or getting chased by cops (which is pretty bad for a mini-game), I really think that cops could have been fun and a good mechanic of the solo experience but they are just anoying and a pain to deal with. Sadge

A very good story game, a strong point is that half of the game is voiceacted.
The gameplay is fine, but its too easy with no settings to increase the difficulty.
None the less a very good romantic game.

Le jeu est de toute beauté et la musique absorbe le joueur l'histoire est intéressante

Malheureusement le jeu est trop cours pour profiter de l'univers magnifique de se jeu et je restes sur ma fin sur les puzzles j'aurais préféré une plus grande difficulté dans les dessins et que le jeu ne me tiennent pas par la main pendant tout les ''puzzles''.

Néanmoins, je recommande le jeu pour les gens qui sont intéressés par une expérience relaxante.
