Highly recommend.
- Fair price with DLC
- Great cross-platform support
- Good game mechanics
- Loads of fun with replay value

Best Value Game.
I could not believe how well this game ran with linux and it's definitely on my top to-buy list due to the amazing support on every facet.

I'm hoping that Dying light 2 will have the same support. I passed on EA titles, Rage 2, Mafia III. Console ports usually aren't my favourite; sequels tend to flop and become way too pricy.

<<"About your question: I am afraid it is too early to give the definitive answer yet as our development team is working hard on Dying Light 2. Confirmed platforms are Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, but knowing that we have devoted Dying Light community on Linux, this version is definitely in their consideration. "

So if you do want it on Linux, you should probably let them know.>>

Yes. :)

- A new DLC for VR has been added and the base game price is lower than before.
Definitely a good value product that makes buying a dlc fit in a AAA game budget.

Followup - Feb 26 2021
- It's even going on f2p for it's 6th anniversary (great events).

Other info:
<<Obviously this hasn’t been officially confirmed by reliable sources, but the author of the article and the publisher he works for are both credible sources in Poland. There may be some errors in translation, but it’s clear that some employees are unhappy with the work conditions, but Dying Light 2 might still be doing alright despite the issues.

What do you think? Is this normal for game development? Is this to be expected? How will this affect the industry and development of Dying Light 2? Let us know your thoughts! Source[www.game-debate.com] >>

Needs some fixing
I enjoy being able to play for free so there isn't much room to complain here. So I am adding some criticism in hopes that the game could improve.

The Cons
This game is familiar to csgo but feels like a console experience
- likely due to how the engine was made.
- Heavy mechanics, some input/animation bugs (ex. while planting bomb)
+ Great leveling system and competitive matchmaking with a decent amount of gamemodes

Controller support and cross platform compatibility
- I was hoping for linux support since games like rust use EAC and managed to make it work.
- There seems to have a common Audio/Visual issue with these games (Coil whine and EAC ?)
it gets pretty annoying because it happens when launching another match or when I tab out.
+ It may not be my cup of tea but I wouldn't mind trying casual gameplay with a controller. It just seems like the game isn't fully adapted for it.

Still a great game
I hope this helps and despite my negative review it's a good price on special (20$) . If you like r6 siege, modern warfare or other console games that are ported give this a try on PC.

Colors have numbers ok ?
Great game, good mechanics. Click a number and it turns a color.
A simple yet enjoyable experience, you should know because of the hours I put into it.

A compelling story with added surrealism and mystery.
If you plan on playing the entire game make sure you have a walkthrough on hand.
