I've never bothered doing any reviews on a Destiny campaign until now, but after spending a moderate time on the overall latest expansion and completing it on the "Legendary" difficulty, it was a hard grip to be excited for the story/campaign.

Pros:
The campaign was lengthy, and put you in a lot of positions where you got to fight a lot of enemies constantly so you got a really "game" type experience and it gave you a fair bit of excitement in tense moments when you get close to defeating a boss or being close to defeating them before you get 1 shot. (Bungie did state "we want to bring the challenge back".

The overall new location is really interesting and pretty with the neon 1980's type of style and very gorgeous new "tower" type of location, that can count as a safe spot with all your necessities from the proper tower, and relaxing waterfalls and meditation retreat spot. with the overall location lots of fascinating building styles and cityscape that you can basically just stand still and take in the vista while you sit and wait for public events.

Cons:
the problems come in when the devs decided it was a good idea to put you constantly in a place of "no re-spawn available" scenarios basically every 5 minutes through the campaign which you'll be doing that for 10 - 20 hours, before coming to and end of the story, which is highly repetitive and obvious you'll be in a position of trouble.

The bosses are highly to strong while you are strong too, I don't think being 1 shot or 2 shot from tracking orbs from generic enemy mobs not even powerful ones/ or bosses.

coming to the end; the story is lackluster and felt like I had no engagement on what is happening, some character development was involved with some new NPC's, but the interest fell off super quickly and felt like everyone was a side character, I quickly forgot about most of them,

Makes me feel Bungie had an idea on a new sub-class then focused way too much on trying to make new abilities interesting and exciting to use, then all other departments of the development team didn't put any effort into story telling or the overall campaign experience.

Not to mention the price tag of what a Triple A game is worth as a complete package to the deluxe which over more than most triple A games for a single raid and some other stuff that people will forgot about.

every other expansion is more worth than Lightfall, go buy those ones instead.

Naraka: Bladepoint is a great spin on a BR game, there's so many unique things about it, from completely different fighting styles depending on the character you play/main and roster is ever increasing with a current of 7 characters (if you got the game before the end date - Yoto Hime) though everyone I guess calls her "booba girl".

Customization: the in-depth character customization is sometimes too indepth where people ruin the looks of the characters but who cares? isn't that part of the fun too? on top of this there's multiple different types of outfits, grapples, accessories, hair styles and weapon skins that you could be grinding for or get super lucky and get the best ones in your few "loot boxes"

Loot boxes and progression: here I guess this is where the issues persists. you can play the game and get I guess what you want without spending a dime on these areas as the challenges are quite easy and the rewards are very small amount to the greater part of the game, and there's "silk" things you can receive for the "time to time" switch up on the silk store items. other than that there's lore to each character where you can grind their challenges to unlock their backstory and get loot boxes 5 times up to getting a animated player avatar for that specific character.

Gameplay: of this unique battle royale is completely different to any other it's based on many factors from weapon types and strengths from multiple different melee weapons from daggers, swords, katanas, ect and ranged from pistols, bows, cannons, ect. though the game is more based around melee combat where ranged is weaker makes you more vulnerable. other parts come in to play where it's really a team based game where some characters are healers others fighters then there's "tanks" or so you will. Each character has a unique ability and ultimate from healing team mates over time or insta heals to throwing fire bombs or becoming a huge 4 armed character. This allows players to truly choose their main and love what they play.

Ranking: This I feel needs a lot of work as there's many issues when it comes to match making I am currently working towards myself to reach Diamond league or so, and I am going against players who have played over 100 more hours than me. so they have a lot more time to understand the game, even though I have managed to get to the top 100 players in my location and 45% or so in the world for trios.

Weapons: I want to address some of the melees are stupid Overpowered, Spear, Dagger, Greatsword depending on use case, and a few others. some of these weapons there's timing to counter and you just cant. for example Spear players can do a tactic where they can stun lock you indefinitely through doing parts of a combo then cancelling it into another and you have no chance to dodge or get out of it before they get into the next combo making you die basically instantly.

Last thing I want to address is the optimization on the game, Hard drives: the game runs fine when not really fighting anyone and just looting/travelling the world but as soon as you get into a fight at the start or loading into the map expect the framerate to actually go to 0fps for up to 5 seconds. so in some sense the game is utterly unplayable if you don't have a hard drive. I guess this is why the devs recommend using a SSD.

SSD: now I don't have a SSD myself yet, though from what i have talked to friends about the load times on a SSD and HDD for this game is slightly different for the waiting lobby. though I need to say when you first load into the lobby you can expect to see infinite load screens on a HDD or when picking a character they don't even load in. where a SSD is perfectly fine like any other game. though what my friends say there is the same issue of a freezing state when first loading into the actual match but the SSD will work perfectly fine after 2 seconds where a HDD will stutter for 10+ seconds then still experience issues over the match.

I guess this is where I say I recommend or not with this game it's hard to say it's a love/hate thing it's such a great BR game and completely different to any other on the market but there's many issues the game needs to get done and fix. I should also state that the framerate on a HDD and a SSD is essentially Identical only issues come in is when things load or render.
but personally I would say my opinion is mutual with this. yes and no to the recommendation.

Sea of Thieves....

a game that seems like a fun adventure based PvE story game. where you play with friends and collect loot to see the progression of your pirate crew.

Developer intentions
But is this what Rare intended it to be? - absolutely not, they lied to the community through their trailers basing it off: this is a PvE pirate game with "some PvP elements" *cough* the arena* where the game is actually entirely 100% PvP yeah there are some PvE elements but you can forget that.

community

You can try to play the game entirely by PvE standards but you will and I mean WILL come across some bored ass pirate crew who will chase you down for 15 - 30 minutes to try to sink your ship for no reason other than amusement.
I am not saying this is entirely a bad thing but Rare did not think of including some sort of dedicated server for yourself (something I don't want) where the community does want, nah I would prefer a "ghosting system" where it locks your ships cannons and objectively items that will damage other pirates ships and make your ship un-targetable.

Graphics

Do you like cartoonish graphics that has really pretty lighting? sure you can get the game for a visual perspective where you can look out at the ocean for hours on end.
(trust me) you can do that and it will never get boring due to how pretty it is. but I guess that's the entire point of the game visually - to look at the "pretty" ocean for hundreds or thousands of hours, at least there's a day time system? - yeah... forget about night time - it's super dark.

Conclusion

If you love a company that doesn't really listen to the community lies about what the games intentions are, doesn't care about dedicated servers for friends - yeah they are making servers for streamers who want to play with their chat (without progression) absolute bs - no one wanted that, a game where it's all - ALL PvP sure allow grievers into your life, and a really pretty game where I personally can sit and stand watching the sun go up and down for it's visual status.

Great game, but my god.. Square Enix has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it's community into oblivion.

Do not buy from Steam, (i've had the game for ages)

Go through MS Store Game pass or whatever it is.

I am more than pissed off especially due to the cost of a broken game.

Early Access Review
All the people are seeing this as a early access game, and saying it's bad and there isn't much to do with the game, I can see why people are annoyed especially at the cost.

for everyone to know this is a very VERY early access game where the developer is working on it through their patreon, there is a road map of up to 2 years. and even by then I can assure you it will still be in early development, I have backed this game for a while now, off and on.

There isn't much of levels or interaction with the "commander" (you). but what you are getting for now is a very early look of a big BIG road ahead, of multiple girls. interactions. love, and growth of each character. I will provide some links: https://mahouarms.com/ - website

First off, It's Tomb Raider, without the "tomb's".

the whole game you have to follow a linear path, you can go off to do things that are available but most of it is behind purchases. now I won't mind paying for them but they should be available in the game in the first place.

All this "Lara Croft" following in her father's footsteps all just for story, yes it's better than just finding artifacts for no reason, but the story is convoluted and can be unbearable, I also hate that Trinity is always on the same path looking for the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ item, I like that they introduced other enemy types but I think it should be more about the new enemies and the lives of them instead of this "uncharted" like gameplay and story.

The story is way too short, for the type of game it is and could of been it's more about looking and gathering as much items as possible and collecting historic figures, I have no idea what the developer was thinking of repeating the exact same story as the previous entries just redoing it in a way that it's something different (in which it's not), you're still looking for some type of item, the same people, the same gameplay, (with a little extra), for the amount of money it is, go play the previous titles or watch a video series. you'll get more money's worth.

I love this game I truly do and I want to recommend it, but for the price it is, it's not worth it, I also bought it half price from a 3rd party store. for $40.

I highly recommend saving your money and buying a older title instead or wait til it's cheap.

Early Access Review
This game is a lot of fun even though it doesn't have much to offer in terms of vehicles or levels you are able to go onto the developers website and download player creation levels and vehicles this game has arguably the best physics engine and crash similation of any other game I've played or has been developed.

From playing this game from all the way back from alpha or "pre alpha", There has been so much things to do and find, almost all the bugs have been fixed and some that were actually fun to have, The building part of the game is still problematic but can be adjusted in future updates, the story doesn't really tell you anything about what happened which is a good and bad thing, you were there to be left hanging on to what was going on, I love the style of the game and you don't know where you are.

There is still things to be worked on with the mechanics of the buildings, and gameplay, I love how the developers took a while to finish the game to fix everything, I wanted a few more things out of the story though as it doesn't tell you a whole lot, it is more of a screen experience and not a narration,

SPOILER: You have to think about what the story is telling you, and the game does a good job at that, the ending in my opinion was really confusing as at the start of the game you and your son 'Timmy' are on a plane to go to a camping thing (not sure what), but after the plane crash you become stranded and have to survive against cannibals. You need to build forts and defenses, eat, build better weapons, and find items. near the end you will come across new enemies and a facility. (in my thoughts) - where it turns out you are the original character who took Timmy from the plane and is showing the player what happened to cause the plane crash which was a EMP that went off that hit the plane.

In conclusion it was a really fun game and would recommend to whoever loves Forest based games or Survival based games, it was a fun experience all the way through and it was very interesting.

For the fourth in the series, and that it was a reboot, I expected less of the previous games, because usually reboots get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, or rebooted in an incorrect way, though with DOOM (DOOM 4), it bypasses that, ID Software did an amazing Job, this reboot was well worth the wait.
