Pretty much like any other "vampire survivor" type of game, you go in, you run around, get buffs for the map, beat bosses, unlock progression stuff. Some achievements to hunt down.

If you overlook the crashes that happen sometimes, pretty fun game, what expected, you're a heated up corn dog, that goes to kill bugs to obtain OIL from them... I mean to share democracy and have a nice cup of Liberty, if you're not into bugs, you can always fight the toasters. There's friendly fire and you will die more to your teammates guard dog then to any charger or stalker. Pretty much a type of game that i really enjoy, PVE shooter which i miss in our modern day of gaming. Now there's the mandatory PSN acc, yeah sure it's a bit meh, but I do not really care about it, since i enjoy the game.

This game is great, it has everything that you could want in a game, gathering, catching wild creatures, suvival specs, base building, animal cruelty, and so on, the hype is enormous for it, so you cane xpect the DEVs to make it even better with time, really enjoyed my time with it, can only recc. 9,9/10 (+there's like 1-2 mods that are really fixes the game and stops makin' some stuff annoyin')

This game is 8€ on a sale and the DLC are like another 18€ (as at the time me posting this) In my opinion this is the right price for it, after 5h it takes some sit back to find everything, just smash everything you can break, kill a few zombies that annoy you and that's it, zombies re-spawn each time you sit down to the campfire is a bit annoying but you can use blue balls to stop them (kek). The grind is simple, smash stuff, get stuff, put into box, get better tools, smash other stuff, into box,go back smash stuff you could not smash before, repeat, the story and quests are ok i guess all i know that dude is hole boi and came out to find safery or something. More fun with a friend.

Much much worse compared to 7d2d, right from the start it feels really empty, running for 5 mins. to find rocks.let me try to swing my axe at some bushes, nothing happens, let me try to hit small tree well something happened, it's either gliched or just the tree went poof, movement feels clunky, once you start the game be ready to have your eardrums destroyed, even if lowered in the settings, each restart of the game is loud as a plane taking off. you want to join a game no problem, you want to host a game? Sure but first restart, done hosting? Want to join a new game? No problem just restart, since it's somehow weird, each time you want to host/join a game, you need to restart for the "other version". The tutorial, does not really help you out, rather not needed. Character creation needs a reset button. This could be a really good game, but it needs a looooooot of updates and fixes. Will try the game out a bit more, then give me final opinion. But as for now, rather skip on it.

This is actually a mecha game, since you're a "human" piloting the frames. At first the game is prolly very confusing, since there's so much to do as a new player, but once you start doing stuff it become very simple how it works, if you're not that deep into min/maxing your stuff you can easy look up guides how to get those 1 shoot OP builds, even without those pretty ez game until you unlock the "hard" stuff, anyhow the story is pretty nice, gameplay fluid and fun. What else would you want from a looter shooter? Yes there's a grind fest if you're totally f2p, but you know DEVS need to make somehow money, right? Oh the DEVS they're great, constant updates, much content, wow.

Was/Is a huge fan of the Stronghold and Crusader game, was always one of my fav. RTS games, still remember when i first saw 2 German dudes showing gameplay and i was like Woah, somehow i expected a lot from this DE, but i guess when you hopes are really high, they wont be fulfilled. But that's just personal opinion.

Now playing this on a 27" screen, still gives you all those borderes all around and nicely pixelated, could be just remembering wrong but the game feels much slower compared to the original (by that i mean the 2001 released one)

If you slow down (you know the lil trick, when you play SP and just go to 20 and drop down all the buildings) the game expect the grid to become really clunky, not sure how this is connected, but once you go back to 90 speed it's fine

Multiplayer is a joke, not what the community wants, so i would say it's still not an improvement.

Balancing still not a thing, you will end up making bread, ignoring churches and sell iron and stone in huge quantities.

TL;DR: Stronghold is the type of game that either carves itself into your heart or just passes by you like a warm office fart.

This game had a rocky start, but DEVs really working on fixing all the issues. The more you play it the more you love it, story is pretty good, so try not to skip thou it.

You know when you see those fake ads for some crappy mobile games? Well this game is just like from the AD, pretty fun lil game.

Imagine If a downgraded Raft and a city builder had a child, you get this. Some mechanics are a bit dumb and don't even work, all together an idle game to kill around 10h of your time (the price is a bit high in my opinion)
