Classic Re4 is one of those games that genuinely shaped my childhood. I remember playing it back then and being absolutely terrified the atmosphere, the sounds, the way enemies looked… it scared the hell out of me. It wasn’t just a game, it was an experience that stuck with me long after I turned the console off.

Coming back to it in 2025, I was honestly surprised by how well it held up. It feels exactly how I remember it. The tension is still there, the pacing is still perfect and ofc, the classic Leon humor and unserious moments still hit just as hard.

RE4 Classic has this special balance of horror, action, and atmosphere + the Ps2 graphics back then, it's really hard to replicate. It didn’t just age well it stayed timeless. For me, it will always be one of the greatest games ever made. It made my childhood, and no matter how many times I replay it, I’ll never forget the impact it had on me.
