Reaper - Tale of a Pale Swordsman
is a classical 2D RPG, you have a huge sword, many enemies and a world to save!

Story:
You are somehow, somewhere in a jungle, the are also those bad&crazy soldiers and they want to harvest a local resource to produce evil weapons.
So what to do with all those soldiers... ? Yeah! Let's beat the crap out of them! But that's not all! There are also a bunch of really crazy locals who use freaking MAGIC, also both groups have some kind of relationship problem.
But that doesn't concern you. You are just a humble mercenary who will work for the one who pay best. No fear, that doesn't make you evil, it only gives you the lulz of beating out the crap on both sides Also you can save some girls!

Gameplay / beating the crap out of people:
The Control is kept simple and shows great game design. Easy to learn, but difficult to master
You will usually find yourself between jumping like a clown, to dodge magic or non magic or unidentifiable projectiles. Also you will use many different ways of beating the crap out of people with your overly huge sword.

The game if you want to introduce people into the action game genre. It's a powerful 2d-action-RPG game.
Also it is superb, for all those who used to play Mario as kids. You will feel the chills of youth again.
It will be great!

Early Access Review
Please note that the Robocraft is currently in early access and still being developed, please look at the date of this review to determine whether it is still reflecting the game.

Robocraft is a free 2 play, online shooter.
In Robocraft you build your own unique robot and use it to win 10 versus 10 multiplayer matches.
Between flying and driving, sniping, healing and spraying the only thing that limit the way of your robot is your fantasy.

All Robots are separated into different Tiers, when you level up into the next Tier you unlock more powerful weapons and tools to strengthen your power and fight better. Additionally the Tiers separate the player base, while considering strength, so that you don't need to fight people that are stronger than you.
For example in Tier 2 you unlock the ability to build a flying robot and in Tier 4 you unlock sniping weapons (plasma gun).

The process of your robots creation reminds of Lego, as long as you have matching blocks you can build everything you want, even though your teammates won't like your Pacifistic "no-gun" robot that much :)
As you level up your player level you can use a higher amount of parts for each robot, allowing you to stack more power and more fun on a single Robot.

Currently the game only features one play mode.
In game you will play 10 versus 10 matches, that are all about controlling the enemies capture point, while defending your own.
Currently there are around 5 maps available which are all around the same size. They are designed very nicely and though full. They allow you to execute strategies such as flanking, camping, rushing or kiting.

In case your strategy fails and you die, instead of forcing you to spectate your teammates on the battlefield, you are free to leave the game and hit up for the next one, without getting any punishments or disadvantages.

The ability to start the next game, leads to less wasted time spend on "being death" and gives short and action packed rounds of 2-7 Minutes, just depending on how long you can survive.
Since you can play together with your friends, the only reason you might want to wait, is watching your 2 friends (3+ if you buy premium) how they win the game. Playing with friends is highly suggested, it allows you to execute even better tactics than before.

Additionally to normal rounds, there are "boss games". In this special games you will face a single player who is tier 7 or higher, with many low Tier players. Boss games are a great variances to the normal gameplay, that gives you a feeling on which guns you might want to unlock in the coming Tiers.

The great gameplay of Robocraft is shadowed by the developers interest in payments.
The game allows you on any player levels to buy high Tier weapons and mount them on a low Tier robot.
Every player can use this tactic, the problem is that new players are animated to use real money in order to unlock new technologys faster, which is not only hurting the gameplay but, is bad for the player, too. It is only a short term advantage, until the player gets into the Tier that they already unlocked with money.

Even considering that flaw, I highly suggest you testing out Robocraft yourself, it is a very fun game and revolutes the way we think about death in multiplayer shooters.
