Sony announced they're not going through with their plans of forcing PSN, and for that, credit where credits due.

The game is incredibly fun with friends, and I can whole heartedly recommend it

I wanna start by saying I like the game, and I've truly enjoyed playing this game with friends.

HOWEVER... when first launching the game at its release, it was possible to skip the PSN account linking. Everything worked just fine, and there was no information regarding this being an actual requirement down the line that was "put on hold".

Now, I assume it's Sony pulling the strings, and is pushing this requirement for BS reasons such as security and building the community up. It's a PVE game, security is not needed beyond the level it is now (not that I'd trust Sony with security in the first place). Furthermore the community was already built. It was widespread and most people enjoyed being part of it.

It's a shame really. I can't recommend the game based on this.

It's been a while since I've bought a game that I have had a genuinely hard time not playing.

X4 is great in many aspects, a few issues with AI but they're minor and even after 5½ years they're pumping out new updates, which adds new free features and improvements to the game.

Can absolutely recommend.

Received it as part of the Humble Bundle Choice and decided to give it a try, and it's genuinely a good game with so much potential for future work.

Gameplay is kinda like Fractured Space, however with RPG elements and so far an enjoyable storyline.

With the release of the game tommorow, I think it's only fair that I update my review.

The game is great, and has absolutely lived up to its potential. The devs have shown themselves to actively update and balance the game, and keep the playerbase informed about changes.

With a lot of hours put into this game now, I can still only do one thing, which is to recommend it to everyone, who likes RTS games.

I can't wait to see what future DLCs bring to the game.

##Original review (Positive)
Overall this game features such great potential once more content is added in the form of maps and new battlegroups. The combination of features from Wargame and Steel Division definetly shows promise in Warno.

Considering it's Early Access I feel like the game is very playable, and can't wait to see more in the future.

Spent 6 hours flying people from base to AO on a mike force server... never got shot down, crashed or anything...

Now theres image retention from the UI in my monitor...

9/10 can recommend

Might be Early Access, but worth every bit of cash spent.

The game has bugs which is to be expected, but TalesWorlds are very fast and responsive to deal with the most critical of them as they're reported.

At this point I just can't wait to see what else they have to offer down the line

First of all, this is a EA game, so bugs are to be expected!

First thoughts after playing a bit:
Pros:
- Great concept
- Hearts and Minds mechanics... The populace has opinions of your actions and will increase or decrease as you progress depending on how you handle situations which is nice!
- Lots of different ways of handling situations and there is some surrender mechanics from what I've seen. So you can arrest people instead of killing them downright.
- Functional convoy mechanics! :P

Cons:
- There's no time control as of right now, so in high tense situations it's hard to manage your troops
- AI pathfinding, especially vehicles are weird. They will however stay back from active engagements

While all of this is said, it is EA, and the cons I posted are to be expected since it just got released.

The game has alot of future potential and the devs seem to be actively managing the community so I can definetly recommend giving it a shot!

Visually good looking with great gameplay to back it up

Tutorial tells me to crash dive to 180 meters, Me an intellectual does so, but in the process forget to close the hatch so the coning tower is flooded kiling two of my men... Disaster doesn't end here, enemey destroyers above my head, too busy with other stuff to notice the oxygen levels... Safe to say my men all died of lack of oxygen.

10/10 would kill my entire crew again

Seriously though, this game is great

For a early access game this game is absolutely amazing. Not only is it very realistic while having a more arcade feel than e.g. Post Scriptum, it also has amazing graphics, amazing gunplay and absolutely stunning maps. The minute you join the game you can see that the developers actually care for the game. It's been a long time since i've had this feeling playing a WW2 game, but it really brings me back to the Resistance and Liberation days :)

That said there's the usual downsides of this genre of game, lack of team work, the occasional team killing etc which is to be expected, but if you're lucky and get a squad or tank crew which communicates the game just becomes 10x better.
