Interesting strategy game with real-time dynamics. Can get a bit old quickly if you are not into such a game.

Good game. All around pretty accurate. But WHAT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE: Would be for ATS to hook up with Google & Google maps and be able to "drive" on the real roads in Google Street View. - In this game, there are only the major roads hardly any little side-roads, etc. Someone needs to cut a deal with Google Street View and make it happen.

Well-rounded golf game. One major problem: Mouse "swing" play is just about impossible on the "hard" setting (the one that takes into account the down-swing). Even though they do have a feature of "calibration" for such -- the functionality just does not cut it to correct problems with mouse-swing on hard setting. If you want to try to play this way - and you MUST play this way if you use the mouse in "Rated" online play with others - you will find it a deal-breaker due to frustration with not being able to control the ball correctly. BUT ... If you use a mouse and play without the down-swing being taken into consideration, then it becomes an enjoyable, relaxing and yet still challenging game & gameplay.

Loaded with features... Interesting & productive mini-games... Tons of DLC... I was blown away with the ease of learning guitar that can be done with this ... dare I call it a "game?" Whatever you wish to call it, it rocks! Highly recommended.

A decent game. The graphics could be a bit better, though, especially the playing character. And an effort should be made to include "real" multi-player, play - as in, I can see the other person & what they are doing and they can see/be with, me. Right now, all you can see is the other player's golf balls being struck and where they line-up. It don't give the sense of playing with your friends, as much as it could have done. Also, I would divorce the player's swing with the transmission of online data - it seems that when you swing (move the mouse) the data is transmitted real-time across the internet to the server for the duration of the swing, this can be laggy. If you have a borderline connection or computer, the swing can be off, just because of the lag. They need to program the swing to be made first at the user's computer and finished, and THEN transmit the data of the swing - don't do it real time, it has cost me many stokes because of a bit of lag in the system.

A WORD TO THE PLAYER-MADE COURSE MAKERS:

STOP BEING IDIOTS!!

Okay, I'm not talking about the intentional "goofy-made" courses, where you have a 1000-yard downhill putt or hit your ball and then it follows a valley though mountains in a slalom, etc. Nor am I talking about the makers that are trying to exactly mimic a real-life course somewhere. I'm talking to the casual makers of courses who make idiotic courses. Stop it!!

Don't make too narrow of fairways. Don't make to small of greens. Don't make your greens convex!! Don't put a zillion hilly-breaks into the greens. Don't make the greens too fast, Don't make a course and forget to take all of this into account. Don't make your greens both convex & too fast - it's ridiculous! Don't put a zillion bunkers on the course. Don't make every hole a nightmare challenge. Don't put too many green-guarding bunkers in it. Don't make every drive shot barely reachable over water (not everyone uses the same clubs)). Don't make your course custom to your "long-distance" clubs - as others may be using the starter clubs and wont be able to reach. Don't put the greens in the shadow of trees - it's almost impossible to see the cup. Use noon-time settings for almost all your courses. Stop it with the low-angle sun. It doesn't look right.

I want everyone to watch the original Star Trek and watch Mr. Spock - the whole series, because people just don't think these days! Watch Spock & learn how to think/reason/use logic ... You must use your noggin if you are going to make a course!

And lastly: PLAY THE DARN COURSE BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT!!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT ... IF YOU GET FRUSTRATED ... SO WILL EVERYONE ELSE!!!

Happy course making.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. The game is fine. Take notice that nearly all the negative reviews only have a 1 or 2 hours played. They didn't give it a fair shake. Those complaining about how hard it is to kill zombies are trying the wrong way, at the wrong level, using the wrong tactics. I often round-up 100 zombies, kill them all and farm them for resources. Another complaint is that the "story mode" needs money to play. Not really. There is an in-game way to earn the gold certificates needed to open the story mode & other aspects of the game. About the only complaint that is real, is that the servers have low population, but who can blame the game with all these nonsense negative reviews. The PVP is different that most PVP. (So far, due to the low population servers. People don't "always" shoot other people in this game. There are safe-zone where they can't but even outside of the safe-zones it's not like GTA5. People seem to respect others in the game a whole lot more. The world is the world, and as in real life, people don't (or shouldn't) just go around killing each other and that's the way it is ... so far ... in this game. That's not to say that it never happens. There are some events that throw people together and the PVP is pressed a bit more due to proximity and because resources are being offered, so PVP sometimes erupts in those cases. There is also a specific section of the game where the PVP is similar to CS:GO - team against team & fast-paced. This game certainly has potential - if only the population of the servers would increase. The only bad thing I can say about it right now, as I type, is that for the first time the servers have been down for 2-days without notification... I don't know if they are updating it, or what as they don't tell you. I hope the game is still alive ... Hanging in there, etc. Because I think this game war ruined mostly by the negative comments from people who don't have a little bit of attention and effort to try it out long enough. AGAIN: The negative reviews are nonsense. Decent game.

Does what it says. The Free-to-Play version is enjoyable enough, and if you want more you can always buy extra. A "game" if you wish to look at it that way, which also edjucates - a good combination.
