After 2.400 hours playing this game it's such a shame that I have to write a negative review about it.

The game USED to be good, it was a lot of fun despite the continuous toxicity and trashtalk in every single game no matter if it was ranked or not (it always had a toxic community) leaving that aside, games were fast paced and you had to have a lot of skill and reaction time in order to make some good plays with ur teammates or some epic saves (high elo games). Crate system was decent enough. Since they launched the game there were crates that you could unlock with keys (that you had to buy) but it was a total of 3 crates only back then, nowadays you have 18 different crates with a bunch of new items that aren't interesting anymore cuz it feels like they're milking it.

About DLC's.. the first 2 or 3 of them were quite good, they had new cars and new exclusive items, also quite cheap.. later on they only added DLC's that included just one car for the same price pretty much.. (these new cars don't give you any kind of advantage compared to others)

Back to the point, I said earlier that the game USED to be good mainly because on the latest patches, they modified pretty much everything when it comes to gameplay.. the ball is A LOT slower than it used to be, they also modified the gravity of the cars and the flick movement of them, now the game is less skill based than it used to be since it's really easy to hit the ball cuz of the gravity and really easy to predict where it's going to be exactly since it moves so slow... I don't really know why they made these changes but it totally killed the game, you can no longer make some plays with ur teammates to score some fast sick goals that required a lot of skill, rotation is no longer a thing and ur positioning is not important as it used to be, if 2 players hit the ball at the same time it stays on the air for 10 seconds at least for no reason.. games are way more slow in general than they used to be and there are less chances to score anything. they also added a time limited Rocket Pass (which works like the PUBG / Fortnite battlepass) for 10 keys (which is like 10€ in-game). It's not really that big of a deal but the fact that it's time limited and you only have a month to level it up makes it impossible to complete in that time and you have to re-buy it later on.

TL;DR: After the latest patches they changed a lot of gameplay mechanics that imo are crucial to the game and made it less skill based for everyone and way slower than it used to be, so it's now pretty much noob-friendly for everyone. These changes made me feel like it's a new game now and not the game that I've spent 2400h on, I don't get why they did this after 3 years and not since the beggining of the game.. you shouldn't change such important mechanics after so long.

It's like LoL without farming , jungle, or anything. Fun and interactive, highly recommended.

Only downside is that sometimes you cannot connect to the game due to a connection error and you lose automatically. Hope they fix it soon since it ♥♥♥♥♥ up your elo on ranked aswell.

One of the best singleplayer games so far.
