this game is very good at making me feel like i am not as good at souls games as i think i am

team cherry is composed of the biggest sadists around, topped only by bennett foddy, and this entire game serves as proof of that concept

that being said, it is a very good game

ten dollars to laugh at my friends die horribly and to scream at the most horrifying monstrosities i've come to know, now that's a steal

you are prohibited from playing the character you want to play if the enemy team is playing your character's counters.
if you have one bad teammate, you either have to pull their weight for them or the game is already over.
tank is a cosmetic role and has little-to-no influence on the game.
pharah is unfortunately still in the game..

i've played for about an additional 200 hours and this game has somehow only gone downhill.
tanks, despite being granted an enormous health pool, are glorified ult batteries that give you the illusion of strength.
pharah is STILL in the game
modern hero design is genuinely the worst its ever been (mauga, freja, hazard, etc.)

voidling is the most poorly designed boss i've ever had the displeasure of dealing with

vanny is a bad ♥♥♥♥♥, not even gonna lie

the game, while deceitfully polished, is genuinely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrible. the netcode is unbelievably bad, the worst i've ever seen for a game that is built around online pvp, almost as bad as the souls games. i don't have to say much about the community, siege has it's own throne for having one of the worst communities in gaming, the players themselves being known to have the largest and most frail egos in the known universe. the gameplay loop is unlike any other game in the world, and as a result is atrocious for new players to get into (it doesn't help that the game does a piss-poor job at explaining this to you)

the only reason i own this game is because it was given to me as a gift (more of a punishment, but y'know)
