This masterpiece of a game should honestly be about 10 dollars more then it is. There is so much content, so much diversity in the monster designs and ability combinations. The story especially the companions story arcs are very well done. Here are some pros and cons for people who are on the fence about buying this game.

Pros
-Good amount of monsters (120) (baby forms and evolved forms are well stated and all useable)
-Good character customization
-Companions are very diverse and likeable
-Story is quite strong for the genre type
-Traversing the map in the mid game is amazing
-Bootleg (shiny) hunting is fun and extremely rewarding
-Combat and Music are unforgettable and revolutionary.
-Very rare that you will have moves similar to other people once you find the upgraded versions as they role with numerous random affixes.

Cons
-Traversing in the early game can feel like a slog until you get some of the abilities.
-Swapping companions can be annoying because they take one of your monsters with them until you swap back (should be getting adjusted)
-As of right now multiplayer is very limited ( Mainly local, remote share play, no battles or trading)
-Sometimes hard to know what you should be doing next due to the vast amount of freedom the game gives you after the tutorial.
-Unlocking fusion with some of the companions takes longer to unlock then I would like.
-Will consume your life

Overall solid game and I'd give it a 10/10.

Game is a 10/10 on pc. A few bugs but overall god tier lvls of fun
