it's a super cool game and i wanna get the 25 exp for the 2025 steam awards thing so this review is just a nothing review. sorry. it really is a nice rhythm game though!! pretty innovative, definitely requires some learning even for rhythm game gods. cool everything.

it's a fun game!! definitely more content and passion put into it than i expected. cool rivals of aether microgames compilation game with lore and new characters?? definitely worth playing if you're into the aether series.

oh my gosh this game is AMAZING!! super fun combat system, beautiful graphics, well designed and fun areas, really nice worldbuilding and characters???? what the hell?!?! i really like metroidvanias and have played through a handful of them (hollow knight, metroid, metroid II, nine sols, yadda yadda yadda...). Vernal Edge is absolutely my favorite. I'm so happy a friend recommended this game to me. I really enjoy the relationship between Vernal and Chervil. i wish i could get deeper into it without spoilers but anyways UGHH!! i just really like this game ok. i think it's awesome and i think that if you like metroidvanias with fun combat and nice hidden collectibles and all the other stuff i was talking about at the top of this review, then you should play it too!!

bought the game to play with a group of friends because i saw that there was a free "friends pass" download so i thought we could all play it together. apparently you can only invite one friends pass user to ur game. what?? that defeats the WHOLE PURPOSE of a friend's pass for a party game that's intended for a group of people to play. so lame. refunding immediately but it sucks that it was a waste of time.

this game is everything to me. I LOVE SLARPG!!!!
also, hot take: i'm glad this game doesn't have achievements 'cause then people would play through it just to 100% the game on steam when this is one of those games where that would just be such a shame. beautiful game. i love this world so much. ty bobby :}

it's a game with nonsensical lore, uncomfortable voicelines, and nearly zero active online players in the U.S.
none of that really matters. this is a fun fighting game!! i'm not about to say it's amazing or anything, but it really holds up in my eyes. a nice variety of characters, a high skill ceiling, pretty stages, the cat...... i dunno. like. yeah. fighting game.
