A fun and fair F2P game. No wallet warriors here to smurf on those that don't invest anything.
The devs even do plenty of events and giveaways that a purely F2P player will find more than rewarding.

Having been a player since the closed beta days I've seen the highs and lows and after ditching their old publisher IGP things have steadily improved and I look forward to what the future holds.
With hundreds of different mechs implimented into the game that can cater to many playstyles theres plenty of content to explore.

My one gripe I would say at this point is the continued use of a aging (yet highly modified) version of the CryEngine.
I'd love to see a game engine switch but I realize that its easier said than done.

That aside what you'll find here is a great game with a good community. Plenty of Units(Clans) to join and weekly events to reward all players for just playing.

Short. Very short. But for the hour and half I spent with this game the developers told a very rich and well done story in a way you don't see in games. The story unfolds not through direct interactions with characters but more passive interaction in reading their stories. Whether thats through a note found in a locker or to the state of a room you walk into. The house you explore in itself 'is' the story.
I went into this game not knowing what to expect and came back pleasantly surprised. If your looking for action or a game that requires you to turn your brain off then this is definately 'not' for you.

If however your looking for a well told story through what I can only call a 'indirect narative' that requires you to imagine these people and how their lives are unfolding then this is definately for you. The 90's nostalgia alone I got a huge kick out of.

Bottom line if you wanna see something unique in story telling then I suggest checking this out.

Only for the truely hardcore Aliens fan but even then will be a let down. Co-op is fun but tacked on wait till its on sale or solid DLC/patches improve it.

Whether you fell in love with the TV series or the graphic novels or want to see what all the hubbub is about. This is one of the most gripping and intense entertainment experiances on such a interactive level I've experianced in ages. You play how you want. deciding the fates of others and no two games will ever play the same.

One more turn....One more turn....One more turn......(6 hours later) ....One more turn.....

I swear I could live in this game and almost do with the ammount of time I've spent in it.

I'm not a huge adventure game player but if your even remotely a fan of the movies you can't go wrong with this.

A First Person Acid Trip!

If I was ever trapped on a deserted island with a PC, active internet, and one game of my choosing. This would be that game!!

Still holds up to the test of time.
