Rock and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Stone, you beautiful dwarf!

I got through this game fairly quicker than I would have liked because I was focused too much on making good educated guesses, but nevertheless I cannot recommend this game enough. A very striking premise, interesting concept, and clever environmental storytelling make this game such a thrill to go through and solve. Easily one of my favorite detective style games of all time. I already wish I could go back through with fresh eyes and a much more investigative attitude.

Isaac is a timeless classic. I really can't put into words how phenomenal and ever-expansive this game is and I'm nowhere even CLOSE to completing everything the game has to offer. Buy this game and it's DLC. You will not regret your purchase. Easily within my top 5 games of all time.

EDIT: It got so much better

Hypnospace Outlaw has a really strong start, leaving the player with a very comical and fascinating webspace to explore. But the ending feels a little... out of nowhere. Maybe I missed Chekhov's gun and the reveal of it in the third act felt out of place. But despite my confusion toward the end, the swings the game takes are great and each dangling plot hook is fascinating to follow to the end.

You'll never not have fun during an escape, whether its the music, the intriguing characters, or limitless boon combinations. An absolute blast and I can't wait to play more.

would buy again

After remaining sadly dormant in my steam library, I decided to pick this game back up again and remembered why it was under my favorites category. This game is such an odd masterpiece that I can't really put into words. I bought it during some Christmas sale and have since been in love with the game. Hands-Down the most intuitive and interesting RPG I've played in the last few years.
