The most depressing, mood destroying game one minute and the most heartwarming and wholesome game the next.

The story is beyond words, the characters are loveable and I loved just about everything the game had to offer.

If you have even a shred of curiosity, buy this game. It is that amazing.

The singleplayer campaign albeit short (5-6 hours) is really good.

As for the multiplayer after merely 15 seconds into my first match I can attest that I was hooked.
The tension of every second is palpable in a match and a fight against a pilot or a titan is a true test of skill.

There's not much to say other than if you like FPS games you will most certainly like this game.
This game truly was an underplayed gem and I'm excited about all the new players finally giving it a chance.

Although the game was a bit lackluster at release due to having no updates (vanilla) it was still a good game, if you ignored all the other problems:

Connection, performance and graphical issues were the norm on release and if you look at older posts you might just find one referencing how bad the situation was at the time.


Now, however and since PC's and consoles' updates will be synced in April the PC version has come a long way, fixing bugs and implementing features, now MHW is truly a great game to play be it alone or with buddies.

This review isn't much of a review than a reminder as to how bad the release of this game was on PC and although I would have much preferred CAPCOM released the game with all the updates consoles had at the time or at least released them faster I understand the update cycle and its intended purpose of maintaining a playerbase by steadily releasing updates on a longer period.

For short : If you don't own this game and are interested in giving it a try I would highly recommend doing so.
