War Thunder is a great game, ruined by greed of the devlopers.
Gaijin pulls in new players by dangling modern vehicles in front of their faces on virtually all of their marketing materials, yet it takes hundreds of hours to get even a single top-tier vehicle.

Gaijin punishes non-paying players by increasing repair costs, and lowering rewards to a ridiculous amount, where it is plainly impossible to play with some vehicles.
You have to play several games with a vehicle, before even unlocking the ability to extinguish fires, or to repair it.
But that grind can be skipped, by paying.

The developers say that they do not want to give the players everything at once.
But what do they do? They sell top-tier premiums that can be bought using real world money.

The devs have no intention to actually listen to the playerbase, and to improve the economy of the game, the only reason the latest changes were averted, was due to their falling ratings.
I simply cannot recommend the game at it's current state, saying that hurts me deeply, as I have invested a significant amount of time into this game, and have recommended it to people before.

I wish that the developers would just listen to the playerbase, instead of ignoring our criticisms and threatening us.

It's good, i guess.
