Lakeside is a great niche-city builder that features some of the things people love when playing one. The core of the game is pretty fun at the moment, and it seems it will continue to be enjoyable for many hours.

Really interesting and fun gameplay. Has alot of "Souls-like"aspects that makes me want to continue playing it over and over again. The movement itself feels super free and responsive.
The design of the game itself it's super fresh since the "no-text" experience is an adventure to go through, makes you think on what you have to do next, instead of defaulting to reading.
Bosses feel hard, but always have a good exploit system to them, forcing you to learn, instead of brute forcing them with some hidden power.

Stellar Interface isn't your typical game.
First is odd enough having a shmup with different pacing throughout the game. At the beginning of each run the game is kinda slow, but after some runs you start to understand that it has a purpose, it serves so that you can build your spacecraft to the end levels. At the end the game is frenetic and a little unforgiving, you only have 1 or two chance to make mistakes, pass that and your are dead.
What I really love on this game:
The software, you never know what you will end up with, but after some runs you start to figure out those wacky descriptions (that actually make sense on 80% of the perks).
The bosses, they never get old, after beating some of them they can randomly appear in every in a level which makes you be always on edge.
Finally the developers, it isn't that common seeing devs that listen to the community and still release content and updates after a title release.
