Noita is like if you joined someone else's hardcore minecraft server years after everyone died both in game and irl and you get to explore their builds and decipher their lore and secrets and survive their torment nexus. Theres truly nothing like it, and you owe it to yourself to die dozens of times in the name of alchemy to discover the laws of the worlrd around you !!

its the best pvpve extraction shooter available, but it uses AI for its voice acting. Its in a gray area where i recommend playing it, but hate the lack of artistic integrity and normalization of AI in the gaming industry.

This game borrows a lot of its gameplay from the way Destiny feels to play, with stamina and dodge mechanics, and thorough loadout customization. There are secrets and puzzles as you progress that give you reason to go back and explore previous maps, repeat certain dungeons, and level up equipment until every gun feels like its own unique Destiny exotic.

The game's identity, despite taking destiny's gameplay and freeing it from live service hell, is very very strong. You are a witch hunter empowered by god to sunder every plague and puss addled familiar from the fallen remains of a kingdom, and every mechanic lends itself to fit how that feels.

When i stumble upon a cluster of 4 camps placed a little too close, and i rip and tear through them all as fast as i can, I feel like my bloodlust cant be quelled until i drive a stake into the heart of something demonic like a witch or perhaps a healthcare ceo.

This game really needs more reviews from people with the patience to understand it, and the willingness to use a wiki. There is a great experience here, it just lacks a great tutorial. It teaches you like a school teacher unafraid of child abuse laws and a strong paddle arm. Have the patience to take the beating and read your textbook (wiki) and you'll be right on your way to become a scared but successful traveler.

Thats too many words, its Oblivion but Dark Souls. Now get captured by bandits and cry.

The best way to play this game is as a long roguelike. Dont build a separate base just for horde night, put all your stuff in one building and go down with the ship when it fails.
While playing this way I found progressing beyond each gamestage felt the way Risk of Rain feels both when the difficulty ramps up over time making your only choice to get stronger or perish, and when you make a build based on what bread crumbs the game decided you'd start with knowing the choice might save your life later.

A very good game with very bad monetization policy. To access it all, you have to spend more money than anyone should reasonably be comfortable with dropping on a single title, but the content itself is very good.
Wether or not its worth it is up to you, which is what makes it so hard to recommend in good faith.
This game can give you some heavy buyers remorse, or it can be your favorite game of all time, the two arent mutually exclusive somehow because for me its both.
