Been a playing the series for a while now and this game is a big improvement since some of the recent titles. Bad Company 2 was my favorite; seems like the series started going downhill since BF3. Good news is that Bad Company 2 is playable in 2042 and it's still wonderful. I didn't buy the game on release, so I don't get most of the negative reviews. Maybe I didn't follow the releases of previous games as closely, despite buying on release for a few, but seems like this one got a disproportional amount of hate?

Pros:
-You're rewarded for working as a team and thinking tactically.
-Helicopters.
-Attachments and unlocks add a lot of variety to how you play.
-No native voice chat and you can turn off text chat
-Includes the option to play Bad Company 2 and some other battlefield content.
-Wingsuit is fun

Cons:
-You're forced into a squad and don't have options to change it mid game.
-Stability that seems to depend on your luck.
-Descriptions of unlocks and attachments is extremely underwhelming.
-Have to unlock weapons, vehicles, and equipment.
-No native voice chat
-Wingsuit is ridiculous

If you enjoyed previous battlefield titles, this is a solid addition to the series.

Let's check that 'allow comments' box and see what happens. I'm sure it will be a good idea.

First time playing a Monster Hunter game and there's a steep learning curve. The game can get repetitive when it comes to farming for materials but the variety of weapons, tactics, and tools to use keep the gameplay from getting stale. MHW's combat is reminiscent of Dark Souls in that you have to be thoughtful and careful. There's no handholding and the game will punish you for making mistakes. You quickly learn how big of a mistake it is to go into a hunt without preparing first. The devs did a great job of making combat satisfying. Small weapons are quick and heavy weapons feel heavy. I still get excited every time I KO a monster from either bashing its head of mounting it. Also reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus since you're murdering innocent giant creatures. Thankfully the writers made the game bright and happy AF, so you don't feel too bad slaughtering the native wildlife (aside from the Dodogama). Speaking of bright and happy, Palicos are worth the $60 pricetag alone. Giant cute cat companions that help in and out of batttle? Yes please.

TLDR version: Tough and satisfying gameplay that requires thought, cute cats. Buy it.

Great old school dungeon crawler RPG. Character progression feels good, gameplay is a bit simple but I found it very satisfying. Creating a team with synergy is very satisfying. I rarely actually finnish RPGs if they take too long, but MMX had satisfying character progression up to the end.

Pros:
-Character progression & choices are meaningful.
-Simple but satisfying combat.
-Most classes feel very uinique (casters can feel samey until you get your promotion).
-Good throwback to the older days.
-RIDDLES

Cons:
-Occasional bug that makes you have to load, quicksaving made that problem minor.
-Building your character can be frustrating if a skill trainer is hidden or not available until late in the game.
-Some encounters feel much harder than others & can be quite frustrating.

Hopefully this genre of RPG will start making a comeback.

While this game was a simple impulse buy, it was one of my best. This game is the Fable 2 that should have been. I've beaten the game twice and I still dont know the plot. But you know what? That's totally OK for a game that brings the nostalgia of Fable 1. I dont remember if you CAN skip the dialog, but since i dont know what the story is about, you probably can. Thanks for satisfying gameplay, Devs.

Farcry 3 is very fun and open. Gunplay is great, stealthy side is pretty good, open to play however you want except for story missions. Speaking of the story, don't take it at face value if you want to actually enjoy it.
