The premier PTSD Simulator. Nothing like watching your friend get shot and scream for his mother as he bleeds out.

I don't often write revews but this game deserves more attention.

I'm not gonna mention anything story related exept from that I enjoyed it.

I really love the astetics of the game It's oddly imersive for a game emulating a 16 bit graphics style. The music is phenomenal, I do love me some percussion battle music. The rotoscoped animations are really well done here defanatly remindes me of the original Prince Of Persia mixed with Another World. The world looks great too, I really like the atmosphere effects like the birds flying over head and picking away at the corpses for other skirmishes that have taken place, the smoke that is pluming from some distant fire or The skies that are extreamley pretty. The skies and back grounds kinda make me think of like a pixle art version of Scott Wills backgroud work from samurai jack. Now to the combat, The meat of the game. I am a big fan of authentic depictions of medeval combat and this game has that. As I said before the animations are very well done and that carries into why the combat is so nice to play with. The combat is a mix of managing stanima, attacking and defending the high and low stances and looking for an opaning to strike. You could maybe compair it to a slower more methodical version of Nidhogg's combat. I have been having allot of fun with that.

In sumary It's a very nifty medieval action/adventure game with a authentic and methodical combat system. It has alot of imersive world detail and a amazing soundtrack.

If that is the kind of thing that sounds appealing to you try it out.

Best of luck to Armitage Games and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does next.

ABZU to me is the child of the 2001 game Azurik and The Blue Planet documentry from the same year. It is only about two hours long. Then again though. So are allot of movies and its about the same price.

Ricochet is the best worst valve game. It should be entangled in reels of film and forced to paint eggs with one colour of paint(Mid Green/Purple).
