Finally reviewing this. Have not even finished the game yet. Level 60 something. I loved the combat. Started as an archer, messed around as warrior, ended up LOVING the two hander build and felt CHUNKY when you hit a good move.

My system: 9700k OC to 5.1ghz all core, ASUS 3080, NVME drive for game.

Graphics 8/10. Needs more optimization, runs rough even on my 3080, dipping into 30 fps in cities, and during large or heavy magic fights.
Audio 9/10. Very nice audio. No complaints but does have a few clipping issues here and there during heavy combat.
Story so far 8/10. Story is interesting but you quickly forget about it if you get side tracked. Have to make sure to track the right quests.
Gameplay 9/10. Wish there was more control while sliding around during combat but was also very easy to use once you learned the controls even on M&K. Controller was decent, but you cant aim an arrow to save your hide with a controller so swapped.

Game runs super well. Combat is fun. Missions can be quick and easy or long and tiring depending on difficulty and your teammates. Just have fun and enjoy the game!

Love the game. Has good fps, runs on almost anything, can get laggy during base fights and big moves yet still chugs along and is lots of fun.

Base building needs a bit of an update, but otherwise is fine and easy to use.
Catching and training is great. Lots of eggs to get and hatch. Play how you want!

Friend got me the game. 100%'ed it after 32 hours. Beat it in 26+ but I also rushed to beat them when I was a few hours behind. A funny AFK kind of game and it was interesting for sure. Would have bought myself to and it was just fun.

I have used this for many difference reasons and use it to stream or capture recording on and off. Has many plugins and other features, customization options and even some skins for the program if you want to try them out.

Got 100% achievements, then DLC came out and I missed it. Had to 100% it again. Still loved it.

Game is fun. Lets you replay it over and over. If you get the DLC you can start with extra starting resources based on how you did last game and that helped me get all the blueprints much faster as I would just get all the mining upgrades first.

Music is great and perfectly goes along with the gameplay.
Gameplay is amazing and mostly balanced. Some weapons feel lackluster, until you upgrade them and then only want to use that one for several attempts.

With the new 2.0 update it broke all my mods. Now half the mods I was using are just game-play elements! Now I only use a few QOL mods that don't effect game-play itself!

Even without mods i would highly recommend checking out the game again. And with the DLC you have an improved story-line to follow with better character animations and conversations and quite a bit of new content.

I play as a Netrunner which had an overhaul. Once I got the hang of it, I can drop an entire room of 6 people in one scan and a double quick-hack on the same target. Game is now fun!

Update: FAQ for in-game currency was stealthily updated and wording was changed. No longer planned to be able to earn in game cash shop currency through game play like previous game by the Devs. Devs confirmed this was just a "wording issue" and was never intended in the first place. Thanks. Will be refunding.

The FPS has gone down from being 130 during missions during open beta, to being 100 tops during the prelaunch, to sub 80 for entire missions after launch. At 1080p, on a 3080 with a 9700k at 5.1 ghz all core overclock. This is abysmal now. This is on LOW setting, high barely changes the FPS and you need every frame.

Current major issues.
-Crafting not fully implemented but the cash shop is.
-Crafting only has upgrade option for gear. Costs 150 diamontide and 900 plasteeel, to go from blue to purple tier. You get 10-20 diamontide and 100+ plasteel a run on difficulty 2 resulting in thousands of excess plasteel sitting around.
-Missing weapons that were promised and advertised in their discord and forums, with the devs actively commenting that they KNOW they are missing. Weapon count was at 65 after launch with a promised 70+, but we got a working cash shop instead.
-Many bugs, unable to pickup crafting material, meshes being bad on clothing you PAID for, voice lines being completely broken when they werent before the full launch, and so on.
-Audio bugs with where sounds play from.
-Enemies will literally spawn behind you and are programmed to do so. I have seen this happen to teammates in the distance and had it happen to me. Even witnessed a specific spot on a map spawn a HORDE of the default enemies that are already in mid swing animation to hit you.

Cash Shop Stuff
-FOMO galore. Timed releases and rotation. Limited time items and outfits at LAUNCH of the game.
-Prices are 10$ = 2.1k tokens (silver) in game.
-Full outfits (Head, body, leggings/boots) are 2400 tokens.
-Partial clothing ranges from 800-1200 each again causing you to buy multiple sets if silver AND still having some left over.

Review written at 43 hours tracked on steam. Will come back and re-review once there are more patches. Got to level 28 during pre-launch and one more level during launch. Played 8 successful matches, 3 failures, after launch as tracked by in-game weekly mission.

Was going to buy the campaign to play with my best friend when it finally launched. Had to delay this because it was on Xbox Game Pass. Then it did not launch with coop. Now it won't have split-screen as advertised and promised. They are taking so long to fix minor issues that other games are launching entire expansions and DLC in the same time frame, with 5x the amount of free cosmetics included compared to Halo now. I doubt I will ever return to this version.

Positives:
+ Finishes up the main story
+ Answers some more questions about the lore
+ Story is somewhat decent, its meant to be quick tho
+ The new endgame was fun on the first few times through
+ New rolls and abilities on items and legendary are fun and adds some more options for builds and adds some fun things to the game
+ Plenty of new weapons and armor to now try out
+ Far faster to get legendary and epic items compared to previous endgame
+ Far more RNG on rolls etc which have let me get some God Tier rolls on weapons which tripled my damage, 3 times now
+ Can still run the older expeditions for rapidly getting some resources to upgrade gear. Runs take me close to 10 minutes each with a build in progress that doesn't oneshot bosses etc
Negatives:
- The new story stuff is quick. Can be completed in about 4 hours
- Endgame content can be repetitive, more so then the previous end game as its the same content in the same order with the same bosses in the same spots
- Endgame gear grind is a bit grindy, BUT it is being watched by the devs and is getting adjustments
- Price for the DLC. 30$ is a better price, I did get a discount for owning Outriders already so 35$ was close enough for me
