A decent pretty good survival game. It had a rough start, but the developers have improved it a lot since then. What's really impressive is that it's been consistently updated every week for 3 years now.

Also, you can get a dog or a cat. And yes, you can pet them. They are locked behind a paid DLC, though.

EDIT: I updated the review because “decent” doesn't really seem right to me here. The developers deserve better than this.

Early Access Review
A very promising Zelda style dungeon maker. Even though it's still in Early Access, it already has more features than Super Dungeon Maker when it was fully released (by the way, Super Dungeon Maker is also a great game, so be sure to give it a try too!).

I remember playing Hamumu's games between my late teens and early 20s, and now I'm in my mid-30s – time sure flies! I even bought a copy of Dr. Lunatic Supreme with Cheese before the games were made free.

This game has literally hundreds of levels, quite a few things to unlock, and an excellent level editor. I highly recommend it, of course.

If you can't or don't want to pay right now, the game is available for free on Itch[hamumu.itch.io]. Both versions of the game are identical, except the paid Steam version has Steam specific features, such as achievements, level sharing via Steam Workshop, and Steam Cloud.

Imagine undergoing years of training, education, and demanding physical tests so you can become one of the few people to fly to the Moon, only to go “UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU AEIOU john madden john madden 9999999999999999BRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBR AEIOU AEIOU” once you get there.

– No, son. You have Death Stranding at home.

Early Access Review
Nintendo hasn't made Zelda Maker as of writing this review, but this is a nice alternative. In fact, it's inspired by the Zelda series, but instead of Link, we get a cute chicken. I'm a big fan of level editors, so this is my kind of game. The game is Early Access right now, and I'd love to see where it will go from here. I wish the developers all the best.

Yes, this game is definitely something a guy in his 30s would like to have in his Steam library.

Jokes aside, this seems like an interesting children's game. My niece is a fan of Peppa Pig, and I think she might like it. You can set a time limit between 5 and 20 minutes so that your kids won't spend more time playing this game than necessary. So far, my only complaint is unskippable cutscenes.

The game left Early Access a bit too soon, so it's still rough on the edges (although I think the 4.20 release date is quite intentional[en.wikipedia.org]), but it's still enjoyable. If you enjoyed POSTAL 2's chaos, you should have fun with POSTAL 4 too, but keep in mind the game is not quite stable yet. RWS is very passionate about this game (there have been two content updates since the full release already), so I hope adding new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing the game won't stop anytime soon.

I really hoped the game would leave Early Access in a more polished state, but I'm making this review positive as an incentive for the developers to keep improving the game and making it a sequel that POSTAL 2 truly deserves.

Also, Rick Hunter is back as a selectable Dude's voice!

Deep Rock Galactic is a game where Left 4 Dead meets Minecraft with added dwarves and space.

Basically, you're a dwarf who is sent underground of an alien planet full of giant, hostile insects to mine precious minerals with up to 3 other dwarves. Or, if you're Forever Alone, you have Bosco – a companion drone that will assist you on your job, helping you mine minerals or shoot hostiles.

Do I recommend this game? Absolutely. You can be a dwarf. You can explore randomly generated caves. You can shoot giant alien bugs. You can die from fall damage if you don't aim carefully with your grappling hook as a Scout. You can drink beer until you pass out from drunkenness, just like a real dwarf. You can annoy Mission Control by dancing, kicking barrels around, repeatedly saying “Mushroom!” or “We're rich!”, and messing with the space rig's gravity controls instead of doing your job.

And, most importantly, you can pet a few creatures you'll meet underground – this alone is the reason why you should buy this game (or any other game where you can pet animals).
