I bought this game only for the coupon I got and for the achievements.
This game is extremely boring and you may find it out in only 2 minutes, don't buy it unless you want the achievement letters for your Steam achievement showcase.
I sincerely don't recommend it because it doesn't even have a high-score leaderboard.

Ys: The Ancient Vanished Omens & The Final Chapter

When I first played the Turbo-Grafx CD version it completely blew me away, It was the best gaming experience I've ever had, when I noticed this game was on Steam, I was completely excited, and let me tell you, it did worth the 20$.

Graphics: 9/10

The graphics are very nice over all the versions with well-drawn sprites and good quality anime cutscenes, they are an improved version of the TG CD. (Except that I think it's 16 or 32 bits unlike the TG CD that was 8 bits but it had good graphics back in 1989...) (Forgot to say... this is basically Ys Complete with more stuff, of course it doesn't add too much, oh well....)

Sound: ∞/10
Sincerely the music made me fall in love in Falcom and its music (Even Trails in the Sky (Another Falcom game) has a REALLY good soundtrack, as I expect from any Falcom game of having such outstanding music.), and yeah, I'm even still hearing them and I won't stop because they are pleasant to the ears with fully instrumental soundtrack, you would even be hearing it for hours, and the music fits on every part of the game.

Story: 10/10

700 years ago, there was an utopia named Ys, a land that was a prosperous an peaceful country wich suddenly dissapeared from the planet and the mystery was left unsolvable, until a boy showed up.
You're Adol Christin, a 17 years red-haired boy who travelled in boat to Esteria, only to find out that the land was plagued by demons, your mission is to find the 6 books of Ys and uncover the mysteries surrounding the land itself and the books, more adventures await, but this is just the First Step Towards Wars for you.

Gameplay: 10/10

I heard that some people hate the bump system, but honestly for me it is the most comfortable way of attacking, since you don't have to be pressing buttons madly. I also heard that this game is one of those games of "What should I do now?" you won't be completing it without a FAQ or either spending countless hours (maybe an exaggeration, you could pick clues out there and here by talking to NPCs.) trying to figure out what to do, but it's fun exploring by yourself. (Atleast for me.)

Replayability: 8/10

Easy mode wasn't enough? Try Nightmare mode! Didn't get all the achievements? Try again! Are you addicted to this game? Waste hours of your life playing it!

Overall Score: 9/10

An excellent underrated (That should be known by most of the players.) masterpiece you should play before you die, get it! You won't regret it.

THE FRIENDLY RPG WHERE NOBODY HAS TO DIE

Gameplay: 8/10
The game is just like another normal RPG where you have to fight monsters, but here you are given the option to spare them, the combat system is unique because your heart-shaped soul has to dodge every projectile that any monster sends to you, sometimes it will become a bullet-hell which is pretty fun and challenging.

Sound: 10/10
The music is really memorable and it's rich on instruments and very catchy music, you'll be hearing them on your mind for hours, or either hearing it on your PC's video/music player. (Yes, I was hearing the Ruins music while writing this.)

Story: 10/10
The story is very original and long because it has three paths where you can either choose to be the good or bad guy (Genocide, Normal, Pacifist) the story is affected by every decision you make, it will either have good or bad results.

Graphics: 8/10
The graphics are 8-bit that gives me a bit of nostalgia and maybe to some other players, but the animation of the characters and some other graphics are really good. (Except of your character when they walk to the left or right)

Replayability: 10/10
You may have not choosen a specific path or either you want to watch again a scene you really liked, maybe a challenge... who knows, but there's a lot of reasons to play this game again all over the beginning.

Overall: 9/10
The game itself turned out to be good since its beginnings but the Fandom its really ruining it for me, whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM THE FANDOM.

HEY, IF YOU'RE READING THIS REVIEW, GET DELTARUNE, ANOTHER MASTERPIECE FROM OUR LORD AND SAVIOR (I know I'm exaggerating.) TOBY FOX!

BUILD, FIGHT, EXPLORE!

Gameplay: 10/10
The gameplay itself begins with you spawning on a normal world (With trees and that) you have to collect resources to begin making your little village or whatever you're aiming for, you'll find yourself fighting lots of monsters, mining for some resources, and exploring the world for getting the most looked treasures, you will have to defeat several bosses in order to progress through the game and unlock some features in your world like Hardmode and some other bosses that you weren't able to fight before.

Graphics: 8/10
The graphics are nice looking (Though I can't see them at its fullest because my PC is a toaster, but yes, I've watched some YouTube videos.) and we're waiting for more in 1.3.6 (+1 points because I watched the spoiler and the feature looks great.) I guess we will get more nice graphical features for the future, they kinda resemble me of 16 bits games.

Sound: 7/10
The sound is kinda catchy and a bit memorable, 8-bit and 16-bit beats with a instrumental touch, really pleasant to the ears.

Story: 9/10
Apparently this game doesn't even have a Story but you can make yours via Roleplaying with yourself, or either with your friends and it will make the game have a rich story and lore.

Replayability: 10/10
There's lots of accesories and armor that you maybe didn't got on your last run, or you maybe didn't play in expert, or either you want to use another class to beat the game, or also make a challenge to prove yourself, this game has a lot of reasons to be played all over the beginning again.

Overall: 9/10
I bet old players did see potential on this game, and they were right, the community is growing slowly but with a lot of prosperity, and I want to say that the 4.99$ (It was on sale.) I paid was really worth it.
