Every war is the same old tale,
Of shattered homes and skies gone pale.
The names may change, the flags may fly,
But still the same young soldiers die.

The songs of glory, cries of pain,
The earth drinks blood like falling rain.
And when it's done, what's left to claim?
Just empty graves—war is the same.
