Playing Soma is like diving into the unknown depths of the ocean - an experience that evokes both fear and wonder. The first thing you notice is the oppressive atmosphere, a darkness that presses down on you from all sides. The deep ocean stations feel like they're suspended in the void, cut off from the rest of the world. There's no natural light here, only the faint glow of malfunctioning machinery and marine life that casts eerie shadows on the walls.

As you explore, the game's themes hit you hard. What does it mean to be human? Is it consciousness, a body, or something more? The narrative delves into these questions with a depth that is rare in horror games. It doesn't give you easy answers, either; it leaves you with more questions than you started with. By the time the credits roll, you're left with an unsettling sense of ambiguity, as if you've touched something profound and terrifying, but you can't quite grasp it.

I would not recommend this game if you don't want to play it for the story as your first priority. This is once in a lifetime experience rather than a game. It makes you constantly think about the dialogues that happen and ask what exactly is it like being a human. 10/10
