Early Access Review
Dungeonborne offers a unique twist on the dungeon-crawler genre. As the dungeon itself, you build and manage traps, summon creatures, and strategically defend against adventurers. The game's charming art style and engaging mechanics keep you invested, while the progression system ensures a satisfying sense of growth and accomplishment. Perfect for fans of strategy and management games! Highly recommend!

"Disappointing Early Access Experience"

Manor Lords had promising ideas but falls short in execution, leaving much to be desired at this stage of Early Access. As a fan of strategy and city-building games, I was genuinely excited about diving into its medieval setting and innovative blend of real-time strategy and city management. However, my experience was unfortunately marred by several significant issues.

First and foremost, the game's performance is a major concern. Even on a high-end system, I encountered frequent frame drops and stuttering during gameplay, especially when zooming in or during large-scale battles. This detracted significantly from the immersive experience and made it difficult to enjoy the strategic elements.

The user interface and controls also leave a lot to be desired. Navigating through menus feels clunky and unintuitive, with cumbersome tooltips and inconsistent feedback on actions. Basic tasks such as assigning workers or managing resources often became a chore rather than a seamless part of gameplay.

In terms of content, Manor Lords feels sparse and unfinished. While Early Access games are expected to be incomplete, the lack of depth in building options, research trees, and overall strategic depth was noticeable. There's a clear need for more variety and complexity to keep players engaged over multiple playthroughs.

Combat mechanics, which are a core aspect of the game, also feel underdeveloped. Battles lack tactical depth and often devolve into chaotic skirmishes with little strategic nuance. Unit AI is unreliable, making it frustrating to orchestrate cohesive maneuvers or effectively utilize terrain advantages.

Additionally, while the graphics show potential with their detailed medieval landscapes and structures, they are inconsistent in quality. Character animations and environmental textures sometimes appear rough or unfinished, detracting from the otherwise immersive atmosphere the game aims to create.

Communication from the developers has been sporadic, with unclear roadmaps and infrequent updates on progress or planned features. This lack of transparency contributes to a sense of uncertainty about the game's future direction and whether promised improvements will materialize in a timely manner.

Overall, Manor Lords has potential, but its current state in Early Access leaves much to be desired. Performance issues, lackluster UI, shallow gameplay mechanics, and unfinished content make it difficult to recommend in its current form. Unless significant improvements are made throughout the development process, I would advise potential buyers to wait and see how the game evolves before considering a purchase.

"A Refreshing Strategy Gem in a Sea of Choices"

Against the Storm is a delightful surprise in the world of strategy games, offering a unique blend of city-building and survival mechanics that kept me hooked from the very beginning. Set in a beautifully crafted fantasy world, the game challenges you to build and manage a thriving settlement while facing the relentless forces of nature.

What struck me immediately was the game's visual charm. The hand-drawn art style is simply stunning, evoking a sense of wonder as you explore the lush landscapes and weather-beaten terrains. Every structure and inhabitant feels meticulously designed, adding to the immersion and making each decision feel consequential.

The gameplay itself is where Against the Storm truly shines. It strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and depth, allowing both seasoned strategists and newcomers to dive in without feeling overwhelmed. The core loop of gathering resources, expanding your settlement, and defending against the elements is addictively satisfying. Every decision, whether it's assigning workers to gather wood or researching new technologies, feels impactful and strategic.

One of the standout features for me was the dynamic weather system. It's not just for show – changing seasons and unpredictable storms pose real challenges that force you to adapt your strategies on the fly. Planning ahead becomes crucial as you learn to mitigate risks and optimize your resource management.

The progression system is another highlight. As you advance, you unlock new buildings, upgrade paths, and specialized professions that add layers of complexity to your city planning. The sense of accomplishment when you successfully build a self-sustaining community is immensely gratifying.

Beyond gameplay, the developers have clearly put a lot of love into crafting a rich narrative and lore. Discovering the histories and mysteries of the world through subtle environmental storytelling and quests added an extra layer of engagement for me.

In terms of replayability, Against the Storm offers plenty. Each game feels fresh thanks to randomized maps and a variety of strategic approaches you can take. Whether you prefer a more defensive playstyle or an aggressive expansionist strategy, there's room to experiment and refine your tactics.

Overall, Against the Storm is a gem of a game that stands out in a crowded genre. With its gorgeous visuals, deep gameplay mechanics, and immersive world-building, it's a must-play for anyone who enjoys strategy games with heart. I can't wait to see what updates and expansions the developers have in store because this is a journey I'm eager to continue.

If you're looking for a game that challenges your mind while soothing your senses with its aesthetic beauty, look no further than Against the Storm. Highly recommended!

CS:GO Review
REVIEW OF THE REVIEW :

If you never played this game, then this review is for you.

Counter-Strike have been on since early 2000's when steam didnt exist.
Ive been playing this game ever since. This game is probable the best competitive game ever created.
The way you play the game with your teameates, 5 vs 5, in matchmaking is so satisfying. A 30round ( 16 best match )
with Terrorist VS Counter-Terrorist playing for a full team elimination or a bomb explosion. This game is from far the best FPS shooter game ever made. This game is not for everyone, it takes a while before you can actually be good.

The strategical way of playing each round with the adversity, elements and the surroundings of maps, creates all kinds of ways to eliminate, counter, juke your opponent. The game has so mutch content to learn that even today I keep learning new stuff. There are so mutch ways to get better, by practicing by yourself in close maps with bots. Learn new flashes, smokes. And i can go for hours. This game is a TEAM game in wich you need to always communicate every moove you do, everywhere you look. Know how your teameates plays. The best way is to play with your buddys.

I will try to not get deep in the game when explaning because it can go for hours, so here are the basic stuff you need to know about this game.

When you will start playing this game for the first time, you will cry, scream, be inrage. You might brake your computer in pieces. Here is the tip for you : you will need alot of time configuring the game at first before starting playing it,
for example ; Getting the good sensitivity with your mouse, choosing a good crosshair, ajusting your graphics ( I would recommend everything on low except for shadow quality, THIS IS A FPS GAME ).

Learn your sprays with :

- AK
- M4 / M4-S
- ALL SMGS.
- AWP

Once you've learned the basics, you can try to hop on Match making but still will have lots to learn again.

This game is all about those 5 facts :

  • YOUR MOVEMENTS ( The way you moove in maps, jumping, cutting corners, bhop, perfect peaks. )
  • YOUR AIM ( Sprays with guns. )
  • GAMESENS ( The way you play when using your brain can have a big advantage. )
  • TEAMWORK ( Communication is the key to moove up in ranks on matchmaking. )

Now here are the bad stuff about this game :

  • Community is so toxic its unbelievable,
i mean you can probably get kick in a game for not doing what they asked you or su cking really badly. ( at low ranks ) This is a problem for some people but you dont see it that often.

  • Vavle is su cking everyones money with skins, and all kinds of crap to buy ingame. It doesnt change anything if you have some or not. Please dont feed Valve.

  • When you get higher ranks ( gold nova to legendary eagle ) you will go threw lots of hackers, people leaving games,
trolls, or just people that suck at this game. Thats why i recommend playing with your friends is the best way to enjoy it the most.

  • When you think your good, your actually bad, you can always get better and there always be someone better than you.
It can be frustrating but actually that is what a like about this game. It is all about the person in the back of the screen.

  • Vavle never release updates to help the game it self, ( hitbox, anticheat, ect ) Like i said Vavle is a money machine.

  • This game has a really fast paste, it is not for everyone. Some people have played for years and are still very bad at this game ( even if they think they are good ).

IN CONCLUSION :

I would recommend this game to everyone that loves shooters, If you can play with a couple of your friends.
There are LOTS AND LOTS OF good times and fun.
