Game in itself is great, wish there were more ways to level up outside of daily/weekly challenges

Forerunner weapons sound like cliché laser guns going 'pew pew' and feel like they do absolutely nothing against enemies, you are also subjected to a neat animation of the guns assembling themselves every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time you pick one up for the first time during a mission. All other guns in the game take a backseat because of course you will eventually run out of ammo and given that most of the game is spent fighting the Promethean enemies in forerunner areas, alone they are the only weapons available.
Promethean Knights are horrible to fight, akin to bullet sponges without a single weakness, the ability to teleport - with invulnerability for a time before and after teleporting - and can be revived by drones that have way more health than you'd expect.

Halo 3 has you engage in a boss battle with Guilty Spark however when it comes time for you to face the Didact in Halo 4 you're instead treated to a cutscene, a series of button prompts, and then watching him fall to his death, completely ripping away any satisfaction you may have felt from killing him .

Honestly shouldn't have bothered playing this and leaving it at Halo 3 lmao

Can't say I'm a fan due to the decisions on behalf of Bethesda about how to deal with the pre-existing lore.

Acts more as a foundation than a game, the dedicated modding community is what helps this game thrive - best played with a group. Avoid some of the DLC as it literally adds stuff that the RHS mod packs adds for free
