Originally bought the game on itch, but I decided to buy it here as well to just leave a review because it definitely deserves it.

I haven't had a game captivate me as much as Fear & Hunger did in years. Picked it up on a whim and could not drop it until I beat the game twice on Fear and Hunger mode. The art is eerie and sets the tone super well, the ost is both haunting and unnerving, and this game has some of the best horror buildup comparable to darkwood. Some sections had me holding my breath the entire way through from pure dread of having to push on with limiting resources and hours of progress.

Some of the best survival horror i've experienced in years and more than likely my personal game of the year. I definitely recommend if you are a fan of the genre and love punishing games!

I will never emotionally recover from this

I barely do any reviews for games on steam but I feel like this game deserves it. I've been waiting years for this game's release and when it finally dropped i was excited. This has to be one of the only games I have played that has lived up to the hype I had before it. It was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster that I didn't want to get off for the entire duration. The dreamlike world and art was super charming and left me wanting to spend time and talk to all of the wacky residents. The ost was super well done and even after beating the game some songs still leave an emotional twang in my heart. Honestly, this is one of those games that I would love to forget, just so I could play and cry to it again.

Ostranauts while rough around the edges, currently has been super fun to play through so far! There were a few bugs, and not everything is implemented right but the game is still early access and released just today so you gotta give it slack. The learning curve is pretty high especially without many tutorials. But I was able to figure it out soon enough and by god did it feel satisfying to do so. Honestly I love the aspect of scrapping derelict ships for profit while not knowing why those ships were abandoned in the first place. Super excited to see what the game offers later down the line
