I only wish there was more.

As a life long fan of the original, I found myself right at home with this remake, and am very glad Bloober team remained so faithful to the source material. The new coat of paint allows the incredible story of Silent Hill 2 and horrifying gameplay loop to come to life in a way modern audiences can appreciate. If you're a fan of the original, do yourself a favor and give this a shot, you will not be disappointed.

Possibly the best shooter to come out in years, very excited to see more game modes implemented!

Tight and rewarding exploration rivaled only by Dark Souls 1, along with jaw-dropping bosses and environments, and the best-feeling combat in the series make Dark Souls 3 infinitely replayable and satisfying. Would recommend getting it on sale though, since the game is almost 7 years old.
