Luma Island takes what other farming sims done right and improves it, while fixing what needed to be addressed. It is beautifully crafted, looks gorgeous, and rewards you for exploring at your own pace without the stress of doing all the same repetitive tasks every day. There's no stamina, no clock, a huge inventory unlocked from the beginning and lots to explore. It's creative and builds on solid farming sims foundations while giving it a fun and creative twist. One of the best farming sims I've ever played, hands down.

SteamWorld Build is a unique, fun and original real time strategy game, with a deep management system (pun intended), without ever getting too overly complicated or boring. Its rich visuals and audio design makes it stand out from other RTS games, and the Steampunk Robotic style is a very refreshing approach to the genre.

As a RTS enthusiast myself, SteamWorld Build has clearly become one of my favorites so far. While it has room for improvement by adding more content, it's already in a great state, and I didn't encounter any bugs during my playthrough.

Instead of buying followers on Instagram, buy this game and get them here. At least here they'll actually like you.

The formula is simple, yet effective: go on expeditions (called Crusades) in order to obtain resources as you progress throught the story, and use those resources to build up your camp, which will enhance your abilities to fight and explore.

The combat is fun and not too simple that it gets boring, nor too complex that it gets overly complicated. The animations, sound effects and visual style are great. It reminded me of Happy Tree Friends, the gory cartoon with fluffy cutsy animals back in the early 2000's, which to me, was a big plus.

Will of the Wisps does everything right. Takes what was great about the Blind Forest and enhances it to a whole new level: the visuals, the sounds, the music, the story, the gameplay mechanics, everything.

The world is much bigger, feels much more alive, is incredibly detailed and versatile, and the story is touching and brilliant.

Gameplay wise, it's a much more fun and richer experience — with a whole new set of skills and ways to unlock and enhance them, you'll feel much more powerful than what you felt in the Blind Forest.

The level design is genius as always, without being overly complicated. It just makes you contemplate the cleverness on the crafting of this game.

This has become one of my favorite games of all time, and I'd never been too found of this genre.

One of the most - if not *the* most - immersive experiences I've ever played.

This game is absolutely beautiful. It's cleverly constructed and tells a magnificent story without saying a single word. Visually stunning and with great sound design as well. It's a must play, especially for Steam Deck OLED owners!

Absolutely brilliant and unlike any other game I've ever played. Truly a work of art.

This game is so buggy that it actually makes the whole experience underwhelming. There is an old graphical glitch that causes the lighting (sky, shadows, lighting in general) to flicker on nVidia GPUs. I'm using a 4070 Ti. On top of that, the game itself is full of bugs and the mechanics could use a lot of polishing. It's an alright game for €10 or so, but don't expect too much from it. The more I played this game, the more respect I have for Rockstar Games and the GTA series.

The Pros
+ Heists feel nice and have a fair bit of complexity
+ At launch, you currently have 8 different heists
+ You can do any heist on either Loud or Stealth (except for one, which is Loud)
+ If you fail Stealth, you can continue to play Loudly
+ Stealth is much more fun and forgiving now
+ Sound design is very nice overall, but PD2 weapons sounded better
+ Visually, the game looks much better than PD2, but that was to be expected
+ Some free DLC is bound to be released soon
+ No BattlePass or Premium Currencies
+ Devs seem to be actively communicating with the community and doing almost daily livestreams, paying attention to feedback and considerating implementing what the community is asking for, which gives me hope about the future of this game

The Cons
- Always online
- Servers down for the first 5 days
- Matchmaking is terrible, you can barely find any other players playing, plus if you want to play solo, you still have to wait for the game to find you a lobby
- Progression system is terrible and it feels like a chore: you have to grind specific Challenges to earn Infamy Points (IP), which are what allow you to level up your character level and thus unlock more skill points and new weapons; you find yourself grinding the same missions over and over again or exploit XP bugs only to skip ahead of the chore of spending multiple hours farming heists just to unlock an upgrade for your weapon
- Weapon upgrades feel redundant and not that interesting, to be honest
- Skills feel a bit bland and there's like two or three builds that are actually worth it, one for stealth and the other two for loud
- The character customization feels lackluster
- No safehouse
- No Crime.net or lobby search feature
- Some achievements and some challenges are bugged
- Game gets boring and repetitive after a short period of time
- There's a currency called C-Stacks which is a sort of cryptocurrency, and is only obtainable by buying it with in-game cash. It's used to buy rarer cosmetic items and weapon upgrades, but some things are way overpriced for what they're worth (like basic gloves costing millions of dollars)

The Veredict
Overall, the game is fun, but it's still a underwhelming experience. At this moment in time, I would wait for the game to become better and more polished, and either save the money or buy the base version only for now.

Fae Farm is definitely not like other farming games. It's quirky, original in many aspects, quite funny and aesthetically adorable. It's a refreshing experience in the genre, capitalizing on the mechanics that work, while revamping some others that the community usually frowns upon and dislikes, making the overall playability very fun, addictive and very freeing.

I'm a big fan of farming and cozy games, which also makes me very critical of them because I rather invest my time in fewer that make my time worth spending, than playing lots of them that basically feel the same and never really make me feel like I'm genuinely invested or interested. 90% of the games in this genre feel like copies of each other, being repetitive, unoriginal and straight out boring.

Fae Farm combines the best aspects of big hit games like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and even The Sims, and gives them a magical touch that adds a lot of charm to it.

It feels like other farming games, but in the good way, meaning that you will be familiarized with some base mechanics — yet it builds on top of those same mechanics and adds new and improved features that will make you wonder why other farming games have never thought about implementing them.

Fae Farm deeply explores every branch:
You like farming? There are tons of different crops and ways of taking care of them. You can also breed flowers.
You prefer mining? The mines are very appealing, addictive and satisfying to go through.
You love decorating? There are hundreds of objects you can craft to decorate your multiple farms and they even serve a purpose, enhancing your maximum health, stamina and mana. You can even customize the colors and patterns of your furniture, which is crazy.
Is crafting your passion? There are hundreds of recipes and over 10 different crafting stations, from the casual workbench and the furnace to smelting furnaces, looms, potion brewing and much more.
Are you a completionist? The Almanac stores info on all the creatures, materials, objects, ingredients, and so on.
You love the sense of progression? Upgrade your skills as you play, in a system that makes every task feel worth doing.
You aspire to be a chef? You can cook plenty of meals and drinks.
You can't live without lore? There's plenty of that too, and the initial chapters will guide you through the base mechanics and introduce you to the other characters while adding lots of bits to the lore.
Looking for the love of your life in pixels? Feel free to explore friendships and relationships with the other villagers, get married and maybe more, who knows...

The game feels well polished and with plenty of content to spend hours upon hours playing it, which makes me feel like it's well worth the price tag. So far I haven't experienced any ground breaking issues either.

Graphics: 9.5/10
Sound design and music production: 9/10
Playability and things to do: 9/10
Customization options: 10/10
Exploration and world design: 9/10

One of the best farming games I've ever played, and I've played a lot of them.

Disclaimer: Although I was given a copy of Fae Farm for free, for being a content creator, I was not payed or incentivized to write this review in any way. I wrote it out of my own will and satisfaction towards the game.
