I'm going be honest, I played through all of Chapter 1 for my Youtube Channel and livestreamed it. I actually kind of liked it and is one of the rare games I actually finished. That said,While I will be attempting to finish this game Live as well, as others have pointed out the game is terribly done, and there are quite a few problems, Including Misshaped doors, walls you can see through, inconsistent Melee, etc.That's not to mention that while you CAN import your Chapter 1 save, any previous decision you made is completely over-written. this is revealed in the first hour of gameplay. about the only thing I actually like is the new resting place, despite the graphics issues.There is also a pricing Issue, Where this is a 50$ game. At minimum it should be expected to live up to that price, but with all the problems, and lack of consistency between story choices, and obvious Questification of the game graphics, there isn't enough to justify 50$ for what is comparably to a DLC.

Tried playing the game again after patches, and it still doesn't live up to the original.

Items constantly spawn under terrain, Zombies spawn frequently and basically in plain view, I have no clue how many times I clear a room/building just to turn the corner, come back and there is a hoard, Melee is still inconsistent, there is plenty of instances where walls are still loading and are invisible for long after you first see them. there have also been spots where I've gotten stuck on top of my game crashing on the first quest to put the disk in.

This game is practically a full downgrade from the original, and if I could, I would refund it

An excellent sequel to the original 2d platformer it came from, Risk of Rain 2 took the original ideas of the first series and took a new perspective on it with the utilization of a 3d world

Decent Game to get, Definitly an oldy.
Graphics and such arent amazing, but depending on the gamemode you chose, its for the most part a great game to create friends in
