I decided to make my profile less awful. So I just took everything down.
If you're looking at my profile, thinking you got a random invite from someone you don't know, I don't usually do that. If I invited you, you know me, or I mistook you for someone else.

I have played far too much of this game. Between the excellent community (hopefully to stay that way) and the fantastic devs, this game is already doing very well for an early access game, and for good reason.

The idea is simple. You are a dwarf. You want gold and expensive minerals. There's an asteroid that has that and more, but it's teeming with all sorts of nasty creepy crawlies. Management wants you to go down and get it (man they have a cushy job).

I can't say the game isn't without bugs. In fact, there are swarms of them, so bring your flamethrower. Most of the glitches are just visual right now, but the devs are working on them, and they've been making a lot of good changes and listening to the community for what is the most important to check next.

I liked this game so much, I bought it for two of my friends so I could enjoy it over again vicariously through their playthrough, and help them get up to speed. The multiplayer is fantastic. The solo is less exciting, but still very challenging. And if you get to the point where that's not enough anymore, there's end game content now to give you new and exciting challenges.

I could go on for a while, but I really should get back to work.

Rock and stone!

EDIT: I finally got it to work on Ubuntu too! My graphics driver must have needed an update. It works in Proton 4.11 out of the box, but Steam Linux Runtime will pull an empty folder without error until you try to run it. Not sure what that's about. I have seen claims that the earlier Protons work, but I seem to get DX11 errors (maybe I just needed to restart at that point since that made it work in 4.11 anyway). This is on a fresh install of Ubuntu on a Lenovo with a GPU running on NVIDIA drivers (435 right now).
