This rock paper scissors dueling game has nice shooting mechanics attached to it. EDIT: Sony is requiring that you link a psn account for steam users. I personally made a psn account but I think its a scummy practice for all steam users having to do it.

After gathering over 1000 hours on this game since launch, I've finally decided to write a review for this amazing coop game. This game is a true example of easy to pick up, hard to master.

You start out as a lowly greenbeard, trying to figure out where the bad guys are and what the hell a glyphid is. From there you can play a quick tutorial before being chucked into the wild world of Hoxxes with up to four people (Randos, or friends if you got those.) The community in game is pretty good and most people are willing to help out a poor newbie dwarf. There are four main classes, each with their own role and distinct gear and weapons. Those four come together to make a ideal team meant to get all the minerals, eggs, flowers and mushrooms from a planet hell bent on slaughtering you. Matches can be very short to incredibly long (10 minutes to 45 minutes is the usual range) but that all varies depending on mission type and your team. There are five different mission types, each one feels different with different cave gens and objectives. There are also six different biomes with their own hazards and enemies. Cave generations are also randomized so no two missions is exactly the same. This leads to a different experience each time, and sets the table for lots of replayability.

Another really nice feature of this game is that it has a chat box and even voice chat, so you are able to communicate with your fellow dwarves over who is the biggest Karl supporter. A nice side feature is the discord for this game, which allows you to lobby up and play with other people with mics. That's something I've been doing a lot recently and it rekindled my love for this game. The one drawback of voice chat is finding people willing to talk without discord, which is truly underutilized.

Once you get far enough in the game you can also promote your characters, which gives a fancy star and resets your character level to 1. This enables you to keep grinding out your mastery level forever and go for the sweet, sweet gold stars. Of course theres also dozens of cosmetics as well as many weapons + upgrades to buy but those just further my enjoyment of the game. My main gripe with the endgame is that once you get a handle on upgrades, there's not enough in the game at the moment to convince people to grind out levels like a lunatic ( LIKE WHAT I DO.) The endgame update that's coming up is being made to address that, and the devs have proved enough to me that they have my utter faith.

Deep Rock Galactic has made its way up to the top of my games list, as well as one of my most played games, and for good reason. Its complete enjoyment to me has only been solidified by knowledge and experience and even as a early access game has more than enough content to play time and time again. ROCK AND STONE MINERS, ROCK AND STONE

This game is very awesome, having decent graphics for a block style game, not to add an rpg element, a quest system etc...The game however has some issues (earthquakes can make you suffocate in walls, crafting is slightly difficult, hard to impossible to get texture packs, worlds etc. This game also needs a lot more blocks, more tools, a larger variety of weapons, and possible a different way then spawners to spawn creatures. Other then that the game runs extremely smoothly even on max graphics (because its a mobile game fashioned to run on pc later), has a lot of weapons and even more mobs. The feel of adventure is insanely good and once you get started you cant stop playing. The main problem with this game is that updates are no longer being released on the steam version it seems. That could possibly be because of a huge update but thats unlikely because the other game versions not on steam are updating fine. If you are gonna get this game, do not buy the steam version because it has a high price for less game. Go get the mobile version for $5 which has updates every couple weeks, or if that isn't possible get the pc version that they actiually update from their website. I give this game a 6/10 (7/10 for the mobile game, it updates a lot more) and higher if more things were added.
