Simply a timeless masterpiece. I can't explain in a simple coment how much I love this game so here it goes.

I remember the first time I played this (around launch on a PS3 system) and I admit I had a hard time getting into this game because I felt overwhelmed at that time by the core game mechanics. That is, until you finally get used to it and begin to understand your role in the narrative of the game and create your own playstyle...
(I already played this game to 100% at least 4 times when I played this years ago on PS3, got the platinum trophy, but I love this game so much that I had to buy it again on PC and enjoy this game again on the Master Race at max settings :p ) !!

In this game you choose how you want to play, you choose what you want to do. You want to go all out with your guns? Fine! You want to stealthily pass by the guards and explore secret rooms, vents and simply completing objectives without killing a single soul like a ghost? Even better and the game even encourages you to play like this!

This game is heavy in narrative. The game throws you into the story and you have to pay very close attention to even the smallest of details as everything is connected. Specific characters, their specific personalities. Knowing everything and everyone will be very useful as you will better understand what you are doing, what is your purpose, will make your experience more immersive and you can even win arguments (this game has one of the best dialogue tree systems I ever saw) against key characters in key situations if you know your "rival" well and how they think and what is their purpose in the world.
You can interact with almost everything in your environment. You can hack into computers and read e-mails to obtain more information about all sorts of characters and side-stories (as well as key information on the plot of the game or useful information to help you approach a future situation in a certain way or obtain passwords to help you access other computers or open locked doors with a 4 digit code, etc.), you can hack locked doors (that can also be opened with 4 digit codes I mentioned earlier, that is if you know the code by typing randomly or you took your time to read and found out the code by yourself). You can pickup objects (like barrels and boxes) and throw them randomly to wherever you want, stack them and climb them to reach higher places... The game gives you liberty to do whatever you want. But everything you do will have consequences. Some elements of the story will change depending on what you do like dialogues with certain people will be different, etc.

As mentioned before, hacking is one the focus in this game, you will be hacking a lot of devices along your journey. It is useful to obtain more information as said earlier, but it can also give you a very big advantage like disabling security cameras and even turn enemy robots and turrets agains enemy guards so you will only need to hide and watch the show.
The game also rewards you for stealth and pacifism. You will get more XP points if you knockdown enemies (punch them in the face, use the stun gun or tranquilizer rifle) than you kill them directly. Completing some sections in some missions without triggering any alarms or not being seen will also reward you better.

Speaking of XP points, we are playing in a not-so-distant world where the human race already mastered the augmentation technology. That is, everyone can replace their arm (or any other body part) by a cybernetic one allowing for all kinds of new skills/habilities. In this game we are playing as Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT that, after a certain fatal incident, had to get his body fully augmented in order to survive. The XP points basically gives us what the game calls Praxis Kits (its basically skill points on a normal RPG game). We can use Praxis Kits to enable new technologies to Adam's Augmentations like more inventory space, less recoil while aiming weapons, being able to hack devices with a higher security rating, jump higher, fall from higher places without suffering damage, the list goes on...

I would give it a 10/10 but the game, as good as it is, has its own flaws. The graphics are good for a 2011 game and certain objects / textures still look very good to today's standards, but its obvious that the models and the shadows and reflections are starting to show their age (it's not game breaking and newcomers to the franchise can start with this game and still enjoy every bit of it as it runs excellent on every computer I've tested it). Another thing I didn't like are exploring the Hub areas of the game. Maybe it was made like this on purpose and to better fit the mood the game tries to give you, but it makes it a bit weird that 80% of the game occurs during night time, making everything look almost the same. To compensate this situation, during your adventure you will be exploring TONS of different environments, each one with their different story to tell...

There's still tons to talk about this game, but if you want more... well, just buy it! It is higly recommended!

Left CS:GO for this masterpiece. One of the best FPS I ever played. Awesome shooting mechanics and graphics! Needs a bit more lore and a better PvE. 10/10 GG Ubisoft !

Excellent co-op shooter game to have some fun with your friends.

The main focus of this game is replayability. There are so many levels and each one of them can be played in many, many different ways. So each time you replay a level it will be a somewhat different experience, for example, cameras or guards in different positions, etc.

As you level up your character, you can unlock and make your own skill trees that correspond to your playstyle.

This game also has a big weapon variety and each weapon can be customized.

Let's also not forget the soundtrack... In simple words it's one of the best things in this game.

Problems of this game, well, even on a GTX 1070, this game is horribly optimized. The graphics are not bad, but also not good enough to push hardware so far... But overall it is a solid game with constant updates.

Despite that, this game is awesome! 9/10
