Hard game to put down once you get started!

There is just nothing else like it.

Pros
-Gorgeous
-Kick ass sound track
-Unlockables
-Neat combo system that makes you think how to use your abilities

Cons
-Enemy armour: WAY too much of it is used in the game. One of the best aspect of this game is juggling combos, and many times they are useless against bosses due to their pattern in using armor.
-Defensive option: The only defensive option is a short super moves giving you invincible frames, which reduces your health as "green health" which can be regained by hitting enemies. Any damage taken will take that health away completely. It causes the difficulty curve of the game to vary widely due to odd enemy placements in later levels.

I really wanted to love this game due to my love of the original series. I recommend it to die hard SoR2 fans specifically. Anyone who were happy to see the changes SoR3 had brought in should stay away.

I would like to preface that I am usually a fan of rogue like game. I have sunk many, many hours into similar games, and I would like to say that I am surprised. Even in its current state, as an early access game, it feels awfully well polished.

Pros
-Very responsive controls, it feels satisfying to move Zagreus about.
-Difficulty is high, but feels right.
-Surprisingly interesting story fleshed out through various character interaction.
-Visually a very striking game. The art style, animation and graphical effects are all top notch.
-Extremely addictive.

Cons
-Some enemies are incredibly frustrating to fight against, and feel somewhat imbalanced.
-Voice acting is uneven, both in quality and in sound levels.
-Weapons are well thought out, but some are clearly superior than others.

Overall, I recommend it, even as an early access game.
