I honestly don't get why Communist aren't in favor of feudalism. Under feudalism all you had to do was give part of the yield you would get from the crops in exchange for free housing, protection from outside threats, and yes, EVEN FREE FOOD! Lets also not forget that feudal serfs only had to work 2-3 days in a 7 day week, while in the Soviet Union you had to work a 4 day work week with a 5th day for rest (Later increased to a 5 day work week and a 6th day for rest). Let's also not forget to mention that these were Communes that these feudal serfs were living in, they helped each other when they needed it, had a great sense of community, and justice came swift to any of those who were causing trouble. Going back to a feudal lifestyle would also mean doing away with heavy industry and going back to light industry which if you paid attention in your history class you would realize that the industrial revolution ENSLAVED THE WORKERS IN THE FIRST PLACE! My final point is that unlike Communism where it has either failed, turned into state capitalism, or an oppressive dictatorship; feudalism has been tested, tried, and lasted for GENERATIONS!
